Textile designer Celia Birtwell has re-imagined her signature prints for a limited edition collection at Express. During London's '70s boho scene, Birtwell's designs graced the pages of Vogue and the forms of Twiggy, Bianca Jagger and the Beatles. In 2006, the designer had a hugely successful collaboration with UK high street chain Topshop.
Birtwell's prints are definitely fab, but dear sweet Express, your prices are still too high. You'll have to do more to get me to bypass H&M next time I'm at the mall and shop within your walls. Perhaps when these looks go on sale, I'll come a-kn
I have just found out a remarkable yet true thing, Celia Birtwell has signed to do another lot of stuff for Topshop. Last April, the wife of Ossie Clark's vintage print dresses and blouses caused a sensation when Topshop commissioned her to design a line of clothes for them, now, the shop that is top wants MORE! Methinks crowds larger than before outside of the Oxford Street flagship store on November 20 and 27, and maybe even the rationing of two items a head as was put into place in the good old days of April 2006!Last time, Kate Moss was spotted wearing one of the coveted designs, and you know, if Mossy approves, it must be good!SOME OF CELIA BIRTWELL'S PREVIOUS DESIGNS FOR TOPSHOPOOH, the excitement!

Yestermorn, was the morn of great anticipation for many a young lass, these lass's inluded me. The reason was this, the new Celia Birtwell collection for Topshop was launched on that morn. However, due to the problem of school, I could not be with the great crowds who gathered themselves outside Oxford Street Topshop, but I was there in spirit......anyway, in the end I was glad I didn't bother to skip school and haul my bum AAALLLL the way to Oxie. The simple reason for this is that frankly, no offence Celia B, but that collection stinks, there is not one single thing there which intrests me...long sleeve checked blouse with a tie neck and gathered waistshort sleeved print blouse with cut-out back detail.Celia Birtwell, ex-partner of designer Ossie Clark, collaborated with the Topshop designers to create the collection, but to be quite honest, they let me down, they really did, and thay didn't revive any of my fave (love that word, fave) prints, which make me so happy!Boohoo, is my
