We had a group on board today of mixed snorkelers and divers and hit a couple of spots where we can do both. When Cathy came up she was thrilled to see a fish she hadn't seen ever before in the time she's worked the dive boats in Kona (since '76, 32 years and seeing something new is still a thrill). Cathy Lynn Henderson has received another stay of execution. Her original execution date was in April. She received a 60 day stay. elling the truth all along. It is only now that science has progressed so far that they can prove her innocence.Its a damn shame that this woman has sat on death row all these years as an innocent woman who was tHer second date was set for tomorrow but she has now received another stay. Late Monday afternoon, the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals spared her life, for the time being.It was split decision but in the end, the court found there is sufficient enough evidence that could show Baugh died from an accidental fall.During the initial trial, the Travis County Medical Examiner testified the baby died after, "being slammed against a hard, flat surface." The Henderson camp successfully argued to the Court of Criminal Appeals there is new technology, which wasn't available back during the trial in the mid-90s that could show his death was an accident.A lower

The car has found me. Rather, the dealer has found our car. And we are getting it, soon. 24 years with our current car. Yes, I wrote about this before (see previous post, somewhere, entitled "It's Just A Car"). 24 years is a LONG LONG time. We were married 25 years. That car IS Lou. And our life, together. Giving it up is very very hard. And I don't really like it all that much. It's way too big. But this is the first change I have made since Lou died. OK, I changed the comforter on the bed, but that hardly counts. This is HUGE. It's a noticeable change, not like changing the comforter. But, it's a necessity, nothing lasts forever. Not things, anyway. Love, now THAT lasts forever. Or should, anyway.

Judge Signs Cathy Henderson Death WarrantA Travis County judge Monday signed the death warrant for a woman convicted of kidnapping and murdering a 3-month-old boy.Cathy Lynn Henderson of Pflugerville drew national attention back in 1994 for the disappearance of Brandon Baugh. Henderson was the infant's babysitter. She was arrested in Missouri.The baby's body was later found in Temple. Henderson was sentenced to death row.Monday morning, Judge John Wisser said April 18 will be the day Henderson will die.Now that Judge Wisser has set the execution date, Henderson's attorneys say her case will be appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court.
