Born and raised in Australia, Catherine McNeil found that she was being singled out for her looks from an exceedingly early age. Blessed with the kind of strong features most women would kill for, Catherine heeded the advice of her family and friends by entering a model-search contest being held by Australian teen magazine Girlfriend. It came as no surprise to anybody when Catherine McNeil handily won the competition, and it wasn’t long before she found herself walking the runway and posing for cameras. She was just 14 years old at the time, yet this didn’t stop Catherine McNeil from pursuing a modeling career with an ambition and drive one wouldn't normally associate with a teenager.
