I've heard it said that if your body's a certain size or shape you should have a certain type of bouquet - something like if you're tall don't go for a long trail. Well, I don't go along with all that stuff. If you like this bouquet style just go with it and don't worry too much about your shape.

If you’re an old school web guy, you would have learned to design web pages in a grid-system using tables. This can be problematic for a number of reasons, the most basic of which is your website will load slower as a result, as although each page may contain the same design elements, the web browser has to download the design at every page.
Enter Cascading style Sheets (CSS). CSS seperates the display layer from the content layer of the website - in other words, you load the website’s design once, and then only load new content at each pages.

By: Jim PretinWhen the HTML programming language was originally developed, the various HTML tags that were used were intended only to specify what each piece of content was. In other words, HTML tags like the paragraph tag, or the header tag, were only supposed to tell the web browser that a certain piece of text should be displayed as a paragraph, or that a particular line of text was to be a header. The web browser itself was supposed to take care of the style of the web page itself. However, as the HTML language became more and more complex, and evolved from the original HTML into HTML 4.0 and even more complicated versions of the language such as XHTML, the web browser no longer took care of style by itself. Programmers had many more tags and attributes at their disposal, such as the bgcolor attribute, the font tag, and a plethora of others. As a result, developing a webpage became very complicated, because programmers now had to not only specify what was to be on the web page, but h
In a previous post title Designing Web Pages: Tables or CSS, I briefly talked about using CSS to layout the content of a Web page. I didn’t go into detail about how CSS files are used in conjunction with Web pages or even how they are created. In this post I will provide a simple introduction to cascading stylesheets and how you can link them to an HTML file.Overview of a CSS fileBefore discussing how to create a CSS file, it is important to provide a quick overview on stylesheets. Cascading stylesheets (CSS) are nothing more than simple text files that define the look of a Web page. Before CSS files, you would define fonts and colours within your HTML file. When you use CSS files, those definitions would be stored in a CSS file and removed from the HTML file. You can then link a CSS file, or even multiple CSS files to a single HTML file.Using CSS files to define the look of your Web site has a few benefits. The first is that you can now change the look of your entire Web site by s

I particularly like the wine glass in this one, it was upside down in a bowl for this one, and it looks totally morphed, but that was again caused by the water distorting it. I left the bowl in the picture only to ground the whole image together, I had removed it but it didn't look right.Only thing done to enhance this image was saturating it a bit, and removing the background. :)
If you're a "just the facts, ma'am" type, you'll want to bypass the Control Panel altogether. Rather than clicking effete icons, you can instead force XP to display Control Panel applets in a cascading menu when you choose Control Panel from the Start button, as shown in Figure 2-4.Figure 2-4. Turning the Control Panel into a cascading menu for quick access to appletsTo force the Control Panel to display as a cascading menu, right-click the taskbar and choose Properties Start Menu. Click the Customize button and choose the Advanced tab. In the Control Panel heading, choose "Display as a menu." Click OK twice.

Cascading Style Sheets, or CSS for short, are extremely powerful development tools. They allow you to define global styles for any page element. these styles are reusable, making the page more consistent looking and easier to maintain. CSS allows developers to manage not only font, color, and size, but also position and visibility. Here are some great SEO hints about CSS:Storing CSS in separate files keeps content closer to the top of the pageDevelopment techniques, like a table-less layout, that leverages CSS put all the CSS into an external file, will have many benefits:Make the pages load faster, since it does not need to draw tables, etc.Increase the content to code ratioPlace the content closer to the top of the pagePut the content closer
Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) are a must for any website that wants to rank highly. In its simplest form, the CSS file on a website is the one that tells the webpages how to construct and display themselves. It is read when a page is loaded into a browser and contains all the code that would otherwise have to be placed inside each webpage itself. This means that website pages can avoid the problems of ‘Code Bloat’, load fast and work some SEO magic.
For me the magic of CSS is how the page is actually presented to the browser and search engine. One of the important features of CSS is the ability to divide a page into section using “< div >” tags. For optimisation the page can be constructed so that the most relevant divisions are loaded and read first i.e. the most indexable and resource rich content is seen by the search engine robots. Why is this important ? Well when robots visit your webpages they do not read (or catalogue) everything. Some will only go down
