D.J. Caruso Says Shia’s Still His ‘Last Man’ For ‘Y’ - SendMeRSS
D.J. Caruso Says Shia's Still His 'Last Man' For 'Y'He’s made a number of recent high-profile projects, including the upcoming “Eagle Eye” starring Shia LaBeouf, but not until he came across “Y: The Last Man,” did D.J. Caruso ever find a project that’s “everything in a movie I liked as a kid, and everything I’d like to make as a grown-up,” the director enthused. There’s good reason for that, Caruso playfully admitted, explaining how growing up as the last man on Earth is, well, is a lot like growing up as a director. “To me, what I love is that it happens to be about a gibberish, foolish boy who never grows up, and I think as a filmmaker you can always relate to that because this is one of those jobs where you don’t ha

VOTO FINALE: 7/10.

      Where Are They Now?—–Mike Caruso
Playing in the independent leagues is often a sign that a baseball career is coming to an end. Mike Caruso hopes his time in the South Coast League is just the beginning. After more than two years away from the game the former White Sox shortstop is attempting to make a comeback with the South Georgia Peanuts. Caruso was the Giants second round pick in 1996, and he came to Chicago the next year the as part of the infamous “White Flag Trade,” when despite being only 3 1/2 games out of first place the White Sox shipped Roberto Hernandez, Danny Darwin, and Wilson Alvarez to the Giants in a deal that netted them Caruso, Bobby Howry, and Keith Foulke. In 1998 a 20 year-0ld Caruso won the job as the White Sox starting shortstop despite having little baseball experience above single A. Caruso went on to hit .306 and finish 3rd in the A.L. Rookie of the Year voting, but the the next season his average dipped to .250 and his defensive problems became more apparent. A 12 game st

      Reasons To Hate David Caruso
Oh, David Caruso, how do I hate thee? Let me count the ways. It's been a long relationship, for many seasons of CSI:Miami I didn't realise what you were doing. It didn't occur to me to actually pay attention to you. I was blinded by the greatness of the Vegas series, and eventually the New York incarnation.I can remember the exact moment it happened. It was like a switch being flicked in my head. I thought to myself: "You're SHIT!!". The next thing I know I recognised every cheesy line, every time you moved your glasses, your hero complex, and finally the fact that you're ONLY A CSI. You're not in SWAT, you shouldn't clear a house on your own, or lead in a team of heavily armed and armoured policemen into a criminal's home. You should be sitting outside, with the other CSIs, waiting for th

      Happy Bullfrog named Caruso
He's happy and he's decided the swamp isn't for him. His bags are backed and he's ready to go. He's been studying opera. Every evening I open my bedroom window and point the speaker at him and play Caruso, who I just adore. At first he'd tilt his head a little and listen then croak a few notes. Now you should see him, I mean hear him; he echos everything he hears right back at me, and it is beautiful. Five octaves, clear as a bell. I've purchased a plane ticket, one way to New York where he will be appearing at the Met on May 10, so mark your calendars.drawing measures 4.5" x 8". click the picture to enlarge.

The Emotionally Intelligent Manager: How to Develop and Use the Four Key Emotional Skills of Leadership by David R. Caruso & Peter Salovey
Book Description ISBN-0787970719We have long been taught that emotions should be felt and expressed in carefully controlled ways, and then only in certain environments and at certain times. This is especially true when at work, particularly when managing others. Barbaro Euthanized; David Caruso Next
Kennett Square, PA (ABSP) - Associated BS PressBarbaro - the horse that captured America's hopes, dreams, and occasional night terrors - has been euthanized after suffering yet another setback in its prolonged recovery from a broken leg. Barbaro burst onto the scene as a young horse, trying to make a difference in this crazy world. He didn't just win the Kentucky Derby; he won all of our hearts. His dramatic win at the Derby and terrible injury at the Preakness thrust him into the national spotlight, proving once and for all that Americans care more about injured horses than genocide in Darfur or famine and totalitarianism in North Korea. Sadly, though, his journey ended on Monday as he was put down and then sent off to the Elmer's company for safekeeping. With the death of Barbaro, David Caruso, star of the popular CSI:Miami show on the geezer network, has now become the most likely next candidate for euthanasia. Doctors around the world are already lining up for the opportunity to
