There has not been much of an impact yet, but the Army projects that Fort Carson will more than double its troop size by 2010 from its pre-war number of 14,500 in 2003. Actually, the first birthday of Carson’s Post came and went last week. I have been struggling with this post as it has been one that I have been thinking about almost all year. We are very proud of our little blog, and are happy with how it has grown.  The past month in particular has been amazing as this site has grown in content, readers, but most importantly, discussion.  So, having thought about it and concluded this is a project well worth continuing and expanding, we are moving on Monday off the Wordpress server to our new site, CarsonsPost.com.
