We had mentioned about this proposed project a few months ago. Tampa Bay Business Journal recently stated that Orion Communities Inc. and RL Pearson & Associates Inc. are planning to build a 269-room Ritz-Carlton Tampa Bay and The Residences at The Ritz-Carlton Tampa Bay in the Rocky Point area near Tampa International Airport.
It will be the 10th Ritz-Carlton in Florida and the first one in Tampa. The closest one is the Ritz-Carlton in Sarasota which opened in 2002.
The project will have special amenities that include a 15,000-square-foot spa and wellness center, movement studio, boutique shops, retail space, separate hotel and residence outdoor swimming pools with whirlpools and a selection of dining options, including a signature restaurant and a South Beach inspired beachside bar and grill.

While I enjoyed the stay at Hard Rock, it was time to check in Ritz Carlton. I managed to get a friend to check if I could get a free upgrade to villa and all I had to do was to SMS him the day before. I sent 2 SMS that never got to him because Singtel’s partners had only 3 networks that supports GlobalSMS. The driver drove us to the hill that Ritz Carlton was located at. I love the view but the drive up sure was long. We had welcome drinks and cold towels. How wonderful. DD loved the cold towels. The track is the lead single from Vanessa Carlton's upcoming album Heroes & Thieves due out in October, which will be the first album with her new label The Inc. The opening scene is definitley the best part of the music video. It is reference to her debut music video, "A Thousand Miles" where shes leaves her home, playing her piano through several states. Today I took it easy and kept things light. As I began to get back into working world mode, I realized there were a few projects I forgot about last week.One was my weekly status report that is due every Thursday. Again, it didn't even enter my train of thought all week.On one hand it's good that I relaxed so much that work wasn't at the forefront of my thoughts. On the other hand, it showed me that it would be beneficial to have a back-up for me. Someone I can hand projects off to and know they are taken care of. And that's where our apprentices come in!
