It has been confirmed that Orlando Bloom will not face charges over the car accident in which two people were injured on October 12. Jane Robison, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office, said there was insufficient evidence to charge Bloom with misdemeanor hit-and-run. In the D.A.’s Charge Evaluation Worksheet it is stated that Bloom “was being pursued by 4 vehicles containing paparazzi and one vehicle containing fans.” Bloom “took evasive action resulting in a collision.”

Britney has been charged with two misdemeanors -- hit & run and driving without a valid license -- in relation to a car crash that happened last month. TRENTON, N.J. (April 15) - Gov. Jon Corzine was beginning to respond to people Sunday as he recovers from an SUV crash that left him on a ventilator with a dozen broken ribs and a severely fractured leg, among other injuries, his spokesman said.
Corzine’s three children and his girlfriend visited the governor and were pleased with his progress, spokesman Anthony Coley said. Despite his sedation, Corzine has been able to communicate to some degree, Coley said.
The governor, who remains in critical condition, underwent a procedure to remove fluid that had collected outside his left lung. The procedure, which lasted less than 15 minutes, is common for patients who sustain a number of rib fractures and doctors said it was successful, Coley said.

The Enzo Ferrari sportscar Eddie Griffin wrecked during a recent charity race will be on show when the funnyman launches his new action movie Redline on Thursday. The star was taking part in a race at the Irwindale Speedway in California last month when he lost control of a pal’s prized possession and crashed into a wall. Griffin and the $1.2 million car’s owner, a producer of Redline, have denied reports the car crash was a publicity stunt for the film, but now they’re using the wreckage to promote the movie. The smashed car will be on display outside Mann Chinese Theater in Los Angeles, where Griffin will host the premiere on Thursday, from 11 a.m. today.
A movie spokesman says, “The car will lay in state surrounded by security for several days leading up to the premiere of the film. Prison Break star Lane Garrison was in an SUV that crashed into a tree late Saturday night in Beverly Hills, killing one 17-year-old male passenger.Police are still trying to determine who was driving the vehicle, which is registered to Garrison. Garrison, who is 26, was said to have minor injuries, but was otherwise unharmed. Two 15-year-old girls were also in the SUV, although their conditions have not been released. Several unconfirmed reports have one of the two girls in critical condition.Garrison plays "Tweener" on the FOX series, and also has a role in next year's theatrical release of Shooter.
