The Ausiello Report announced that USA Network cancelled THE 4400 and THE DEAD ZONE. This means that the last episode we saw of each show is actually the final episode of the series. This is probably the most upsetting news this week. In addition to the cancellation of Journeyman, now they take away The 4400 (I don’t watch The Dead Zone). I was so looking forward to next season of The 4400 after the intense finale this September (you can read my thoughts on The 4400 finale here). This really comes out of the blue, I thought for sure we were getting a new season, plus with everybody getting new powers and promicin everywhere, I was expecting for the fifth season to be one of the best. The 4400 grew and got better and better every season. It’s so sad that it had to be cancelled without a proper ending. I can only hope for some sort of a resolution in the shape of a miniseries or one final episode. But let’s face it though, how often did this happen? (more…) S

The woman in charge told the angry crowd the vote was canceled because she claimed too many people didn't pay the $33 dinner fee in order to vote, but when the Ron Paul supporters offered to pay $33 each for dinner and the right to vote, she then said there was no more discussion, there simply would be no vote this year. At least one fowl will escape certain death during this Thanksgiving month as Clemson University has cancelled their annual effigial flaming of rival South Carolina mascot, Cocky. "Big Thursday" is an historic pep rally held prior to the rivalry game between Clemson and South Carolina in which both teams' events are highlighted with the burning of their opponent's mascot. Clemson has decided to eliminate the usual "Big Thursday" from this year's celebration due to a tragic North Carolina beach house fire which took the lives of six USC students and one Clemson classmate.In place of “Big Thursday,” the school will hold “Fowl Fest” at 7 p.m. Thursday on the lawn of the school president’s home.USC is unsure about its annual “Tiger Burn” event, scheduled for next week outside the Colonial Center, according to school officials. Z and I have decided to cancel (or rather, postpone once again) our 2008 road trip. The plan was two weeks in the Southwest - Arizona, New Mexico, Grand Canyon, Four Corners, Meteor Crater, etc. Instead we’ll be visiting Astroland at New York’s Coney Island for a week (or so). The trip to New York is too expensive in terms of both gas and time to make it a road trip in 2008. With two full years of anticipation for this grand two week road trip why would we up and cancel it? One word: history.
