"Detras de la Mascara" (Behind the Mask)O The theme this week for Illustration Friday is "camouflage". This was a painting I did last year and it was one that immediately came to mind when I received this weeks theme. I think it fits well, although, not so in your face and typical. The painting depicts the fabulous artist, Frida Kahlo, camouflaging herself behind a skull mask. Perhaps if she didn't have "Frida" scripted on her mask, she might just be completely camouflaged and could fade into the background. None the less, I think it's a cool piece, one of my favorites!
