It was years in the making, but Motorola and Kodak's co-developed ZINE ZN5 cameraphone is finally available on T-Mobile. This 5MP AF wunderkind takes fantastic photos, for sure, but you'll have to read this review to see how well it works as a phone.

Yes, am much as the megapixels rush up the fact is so-called cameraphones have yet to match dedicated compacts which is where Casio's 'W63CA' fits in. Boasting to be the world's first 8.1 megapixel cameraphone (that's a whole 0.1 over the opposition) the real claim to fame of this twisty clamshell is that Casio says it will use the same engine as in its highly regarded Exilm camera line.
The Japanese cell phone operator KDDI has today announced the release of the impressive, feature-packed Casio EXILIM W63CA cameraphone, featuring an 8.1-megapixel camera, a 3.1-inch AMOLED display, face detection, anti-shake technology and a simple feature rarely seen on cameraphones...a flash.
The clamshell has a wide-angle 28mm (35mm format) lens with nine-point autofocus and includ

Nokia new N95 smartphone applications will not only make ordering from foreign restaurant menu but will aslo take window shopping online.Point&Find, uses GPS positioning, image recognition and artificial intelligence algorithms. To see all elements are used, However, the processing required to work out what you just snapped an image of will apparently be done on your network provider’s servers. After snapping, say, a t-shirt in a shop window, or a film poster, the handset will connect to the internet and, hopefully, present the user with a selection of online purchase options or movie reviews.
All being well, this site will help in upgrading the quality and view of photography as practised by increasing numbers of people using their phone.
Called simply The Search, it’s going to select the cameraphone photographer of the year.
I was very impressed with the quality of the site itself and hopefully that’ll set a standard for the photographs too.
The only “downside” if you could call it that, is that it won’t be many years before the quality of camera in the cameraphones reaches the quality available in standalone cameras ie it’ll be indistinguishable from a “normal” camera competition.

Browsing the sites of Brando Workshop I stumbled across the ‘CT-6618′. It’s a pretty standard Chinese-Touchscreen-Phone, but it has some notable exceptions.Even if it’s priced high compared to the other anonymous Chinese phones, compared to known brands it’s very, VERY cheap. However, if it’s reliable enough to last for 6 months, it would definitely be worth its money, given its features. Read on for the low-down:The CT-6618 isn’t a smartphone, even though it seems to be one at first look. Still, the features it offers are good enough for the average user who wants multimedia and hi-res pictures. Sadly, the radio is dual-band GSM only, so don’t expect 3G data speeds. Here’s a list of specifications:1. GSM 900/1800 radio2. 5 megapixels auto-focus camera. There’s not even a puny LED flash on, so the camera’s for daylight use only3. 3 inch QVGA touchscreen4. TV-out for viewing those pictures and videos on the big screen5. Bluetooth with A2DP for wireless stereo audio6
