Camera Obscura hail from Glasgow and were first heard on the Peel program in 1997 when he played their single "Your Sound" on his program. However it wasn't until 2001 that the band recorded their first Peel Session. Since then "The Cams" have recorded a futher three sessions plus a memorable live performance of "Little Donkey" on a Christmas program from Peel Acres in 2002.The band have released three L.P.s and numerous singles. Anyway this was the bands first session for the program.

This is the third session from Camera Obscura. The previous two can be found elsewhere on this site. Camera Obscura have just released their new single "Lloyd I'm Ready To Be Heartbroken" throug Elefant records of Spain and it's guarenteed to be one of the most catchy tunes you hear this year. The bands third album "Let's Get Out Of This Country" will follow at the start of June. As far as I can make out this is one of those sessions where all four tracks remained exclusive to the session and didn't see any kind of official release.1. Greyhound Going Somewhere2.
