After driving all morning thru Arizona and California, finally we arrive to our first destination, Calexico, CA. Many thanks to the Merge blog for this excellent find of Calexico covering Arcade Fire. It’s a live cover of “Ocean Of Noise” and sounds really great. It also shows off the horn prowess of Calexico’s Martin Wenk & Jacob Valenzuela. I would expect that Arcade Fire tunes are often covered in the months and years to come, and if they are all this good than I would certainly welcome more.
