"Worst experience I ever had on television" I shall resist the temptation of calling him a whiny Liberal. He does make a valid point, that CNN is one of the most Liberal biased cable television networks out there. I ought to know, I used to watch CNN with Religious devotion, from day we moved to Lincoln Park from Detroit. I never was much of a Fox News watcher, I do know the difference between Political and Religious/Zionist Propaganda and legit news and political coverage. As to the bias against Hillary Clinton, I have no idea, I do not watch that network any longer. I stopped watching after CNN ran a special called "What is a Christian?" Which I felt was nothing more than a veiled slap in the face towards Christianity. I mean, they've never, ever ran a special called, "What is a Muslim?

Why? Because of this article. What it's attempting to do is make it seem like Americans are being pathetic babies about the gas price thing. What's the problem with that? Well, first off they say in the article that the prices shown don't reflect wages...so my question is this: how can you presume to know whether Americans really don't have anything to bitch about if you aren't even taking into account the difference in wages from country to country? My girlfriend is from England, so I decided to use that as a basis, since it is often said that England has such ridiculous prices for gas (or petrol, if you will).Minimum wage in England is about 5.60 pounds. Roughly converted to U.S. dollars, that is $11.20. That's MINIMUM wage. For most states in the U.S. minimum wage is well under

CNN anchor Jack Cafferty has ticked off a few Chinese citizens. Cafferty was referring to Chinese exports as “junk”, and described the nation as “goons and thugs”. What’s funny is Cafferty is right. China is the largest country with human rights violations and they want to complain about our free press, and our right to free speech in our country. A Chinese citizen has the audacity to then sue one of our media outlets for comments made in America. A foreign Ministry spokeswoman had this to say about the comments. “We are shocked at, and strongly condemn, the vicious remarks against the Chinese people. We solemnly demand that CNN and Cafferty retract his vicious remarks and apologize to the whole Chinese people.” I’m violently ill thinking that CNN would even have to ac
When i watched the news this morning and saw the story about police cruisers using their cars to ram suspected wrong doers of color i nearly got a tear in my eye. Not because of how surprising the cop car dash camera footage was, i have seen this tactic dozens of times in real life. I have experienced police attitudes so many times and expect i will until the day i die, so it's really no big thing. What was a big thing is that now it can be seen by those who think (wrongly) that every black defendant or "runner" on television deserves what they get. I know how it looks from an outside perspective to someone who knows little if nothing about being poor and black in America.I can hear a hundred voices asking the obvious question, "why run if you are not guilty?" It works for the web because it gets you to read the article, or even commit three minutes to a video (complete with advertisements). But now the Cable News Network is getting wise and has decided to make a buck of their witty copy editing. When you logged on to CNN.com today you may have noticed small t-shirt icons next to some of the news stories. CNN apparently has a function where you can choose a current headline and have it printed on a t-shirt for USD 15:- plus shipping. I just wish CNN would just plaster on their front page that they have endorsed Senator Obama. It would make all of our lives easier. I'm so sick of CNN picking and choosing which polls they want to report on. Granted while the LA Times/Bloomberg poll shows Obama ahead in Indiana by 5 points, they fail to mention the fact that a Survey USA poll released on Tuesday shows Clinton ahead by 16 points, but we won't see that on CNN only the numbers that put Obama ahead. I'm not disputing the poll results, but CNN needs to stop taking sides and start reporting the results fair and balanced. Then again that would be like asking Fox News to do the same thing.
CNN is getting some bad press in China lately, this time over editorial remarks made by "broadcaster" Jack Cafferty. Text from the article:
"Cafferty made the remarks during an appearance on CNN's daily political news program, "The Situation Room," that aired April 9, according to a transcript posted on CNN's Web site.
He was speaking about the U.S. trade deficit with China when he said, according to the transcript, "We continue to import their junk with the lead paint on them and the poisoned pet food and export, you know, jobs to places where you can pay workers a dollar a month to turn out the stuff that we're buying from Wal-Mart."

CNN.com recently had a very succinct article on the best credit cards out in the market place for different consumer spending needs. I tend to use my credit cards for most purchases, in order to get the reward points or cash back offers. My logic is that I might as well get something back for "free" for all the money I am spending anyway. The key thing is to make sure you pay the balance off in full every month. I have three main credits cards - one for online shopping, one for everyday purchases & one as a back-up. I was glad to see that the credit card I used for my every day purchases - American Express Blue Cash - was the recommended as the best credit card in its category. Here’s a piece that ran on CNN about the genetics research angle of autism. Pretty good, I should say. When we were first ‘finding out’ about autism with regards to Super D, we were living in Southern California and the condition was just ‘mainstreaming’….Time ran a piece on it (front cover) and it mentioned at the time that the largest number of autistic boys being diagnosed were in Southern California. The piece I highlighted above mentions the above average numbers in New Jersey. It can only lead one to speculate that there is something environmental in all of this. I wonder if you see way above average numbers in most urban/suburban areas….and if it can be measured in a way that discounts the percentage due to more people living there.
While Kim and I were making breakfast yesterday, this piece from CNN ran on Headline News (Click the one that is through Yahoo!, the others have expired).
Here is where I run a little counter to other parents, and am much more in line with the financial planner. It is my opinion that you have to take the long view on your child, his/her needs, and the overall health of your family...espcially for the fact that the impact of having an autistic child in your life will be in the millions of dollars range.
Yes, every single year, Kim and I have thousands of dollars of debt due to therapies/meds/etc... Some out of pocket, some in just co-pays. It adds up. Since D's been diagnosed, I've been using my annual bonus to bring that balance down to zero, only to see it creep back up. That's just our
