In the first 3 quarters of the 76ers game against the Grizzlies last night, Andre Iguodala scored 6 points. All of the best players step up in the fourth quarter. If thats the case than Andre Iguodala is coming along nicely. Philly’s new AI scored 17 points in the last quarter and came through with a big game winning shot.
Iguodala has been called no better than a third best option on a contending team but he showed last night that he should be considered better than that. On top of having 17 points in the last period, he was hit the game winning shot as time expired.

This novel buzzer circuit uses a relay in series with a small audio transformer and speaker. When the switch is pressed, the relay will operate via the transformer primary and closed relay contact. As soon as the relay operates the normally closed contact will open, removing power from the relay, the contacts close and the sequence repeats, all very quickly…so fast that the pulse of current causes fluctuations in the transformer primary, and hence secondary. The speakers tone is thus proportional to relay operating frequency. The capacitor C can be used to “tune” the note. The nominal value is 0.001uF, increasing capacitance lowers the buzzers tone.

I just celebrated my birthday last month and realized that I can honestly say I have been making cookies for thirty years. I first started making cookies with my mom in the mid 1970’s when I was five or six years old. My first grade teachers put together a cookbook filled with student recipes ranging from, “scabetti” (spaghetti), to the popular, “how to make a bowl of cereal”. My recipe was for M&M Cookies, one of my favorites at the time.
The teacher instructed each child to draw a picture of the finished recipe. They then wrote down the recipe as each child recalled it from memory. Of course, nearly all the recipes omitted key steps and ingredients, but this is what truly gives the cookbook character. Logistical details are not noticed by children, and reading the recipes you see the world as children do. The final instructions for my cookie recipe ended with “bake until the buzzer goes off”. That is when you know the cookies are done bak
flangracneig pgoramian Han has been going on recently about Blogg-Buzz, a “Digg for Blogs”, as it were. It is just starting off, and Han and myself have submitted a few articles for it, it seems to be getting a little bit of traffic. I thought, as Han was fondueing herself to death tonight, that I’d write a Wordpress plugin to aid the submission of articles to Blogg Buzz.
And, half an hour later, WP-Buzzer was born!
It’s a very simple plugin that integrates (visually) with the WP-Notable plugin. It adds either an image button or a text link underneath your posts, so that one click submission to Blogg-Buzz is achievable.
This setting can be changed in the Plugin-Editor.
Installation Instructions
Download and extract this file: wp-buzzer.zip, the directory structure is automatically created.
Upload the wp-buzzer directory (and it’s contents) to wp-content/plugins directory of your Wordpress installation.
