Harry Burgess - Hold On Forget Me
Don’t know a whole lot about this guy, but it’s due to the fact that he’s fairly unknown. This song is off a recent compilation, “We Are Bulletproof: Atease Vol. 1,” assembled by Radiohead fans. I can hear the influence in this track and other songs of his. This guy has some definite talent.

OK, I'm a little late on the 28 man squad for the South African tour, but hey, everything works a bit slower in rural France.
The big upsets are:
1 - Luke Burgess is out with a small tear in his miniscus (knee), sustained in training. While Burgo hasn't yet fully aclimatised to international rugby, he still injects a level of speed and dynamism that we'll need. He's not back till at best the...
These are a few of the books by Thornton W. Burgess that I got from my parents when I was a kid. These editions were published in the 40s, but were originally written as early as 1910.According to Wikipedia, by the time he retired, Mr. Burgess had written 170 books and 15,000 stories for daily columns in newspapers. Pretty impressive daily output in the days before blogging! All of the stories ref
Big Ben Burgess may get some stick time to time (remember top scorer last season) but he’s a good journo. Reading some of his work last season in the Gazette he mentioned how after his career he would like to become a sports journalist. This season he’s got his own blog on the Sport of [...]

Most chess players are fed a set of dogmatic rules about how the opening must be played. The result: stereotyped, unimaginative play. The opening surprises in this book land like bombshells in the apparent calm of standard openings and disorientate your opponents as they grapple with original problems. This book is a treasure-trove of unusual ideas at an early stage of the
Looking at the poll on the right it isn't just me who's been impressed by the guy, and here's a little snippet from the Blues game which gives a clue as to why.
Burgess played 4 seasons under Gregan before going back to Sydney and getting in line behind Sheehan and Valentine by playing club rugby. Six games after his starting debut and it looks like he's the next Wallaby 9.

Apparently, two division leaders, the Chicago Cubs, and New York Mets, suffer from a common flaw. Here's the Cubs' bugaboo, according to The Chicago Tribune's Paul Sullivan:The standings say they're still in first place, 1 1/2 games ahead of the Brewers after a 5-4 loss to Arizona on Sunday at Chase Field. But they're also only three games over .500 at 66-63, and seem to lack the killer instinct that most championship-caliber teams possess. And without further ado, the Achilles Heel of the Mets, courtesy of The Newark Star-Ledger's Dan Graziano:By this time last year, the division was decided, and had been for months. But this year, those pesky Phils are sitting just those five games behind, bolstered by the return of their best player just in time for the big four-game series against the big, bad, first-place Mets. And the Braves, as lousy as they've played over the past couple of weeks, lurk just behind, knowing they've had the Mets' number all year in their head-to-head match
NAPA, Calif. — Derrick Burgess might be healthy enough to practice with the Oakland Raiders, but he’s still not ready to play in a game. Burgess was ruled out of Saturday’s preseason opener against Arizona by coach Lane Kiffin, who says the team will continue to take a cautious approach with its two-time Pro Bowl defensive end. “I just don’t want to put Derrick out there right now,” Kiffin said. “He’s only been back for a couple days and it’s not worth it to put him out there more…

Detroit News scribe Scott Burgess is the gas-guzzling Dodge Challenger SRT-8's target demographic: a 50-something white car guy who never met a big-bore V8 he didn't like. As such, as a writer for Motown's hometown paper, Burgess can't just come out and call the new $46k Chrysler Aspen HEMI Hybrid a deeply-misguided, over-priced, poorly-built [...]
