Just in time for St. Patty's Day. The genius' of Idea's In Food made the Corned Beef Burger:To make this beauty we diced and shredded some leftover corned beef (what can I say, we couldn't wait until Monday). We folded the cooked meat into some lean ground beef with a bit of cold, grated butter, a pinch of salt and a touch of cayenne pepper. We seared the burgers in a hot, dry pan allowing them to cook in their own rendered fats. The outsides crisped beautifully and the smell was intoxicating. This burger is a bit of a variation on the traditional beef burger. I was just experimenting with what I could add into the beef to make it more tasty. I think pretty much anything can be added, depending on what you like. Curry powder could be a good one, or maybe tomato and basil for an Italian style.For this Thai style burger, I just took the burger recipe I used before and added a chilli, garlic, 4 cherry tomatoes, and some fresh coriander.
