My nephew had surgery yesterday. When I stopped by last night to pick up a change of clothes for his big brother, he was sound asleep and not even our loud chatter could wake him up. This is a good thing. He's going to be sore when the pain meds start to wear off. Revisions are not going to so well. Not because I had written total drek, but because I didn't have a chance to focus last night.

Well here is the first look at the body armor story; the armed forces have opted to delay the testing of the new body armor designs that can stop powerful armor piercing bullets.
Is this true will it stop armor piercing bullet?
In my opinion I can't see it, if they had something that could stop an armor piercing bullet it would be heavy and bulky, I really cannot see hoe they can make body armor that thin ad expect it to work.
Here is a bit of a reality check for you. The modern day body armor has 2 Kevlar plates in it, one to the front and one to the back, it is said that these plates will only stop a fragment, so if you get a direct hit you're pretty much done.
As for the body armor been so tight, this is so when you get hit your insides don't come out of the entry or exit wounds, so the medics might be able to do something.

It’s been just over a week since we picked up the minivan. Meh. I don’t hate it, but I can’t say I’m in love with it. It has wheels, a steering wheel, and it goes. I suppose that’s a good start.
The first time we tried to pick it up, we made it all the way to the dealership with the boys in tow before they realized they had forgotten to order the licence plates for us, so I had to trek back the next day after work to pick it up.
The good news is, the dealership is a four-minute walk from a major transit station. (And, for the record, it’s the only time I’ve had to stand on a bus for this whole pregnancy. People who live in Barrhaven apparently have better manners than the people who live in South Keys. I’m just sayin’.)
The bad news is, it was yet another snowsqually day in Ottawa (have there actually been ANY days without snow so far this year?) and it took me more than an hour to make the 15 minute drive from the dealers
Princess is Oh-So-Lucky that that ink came off of all of her barbie dolls. I almost hit a tree today, thanks to the ice. And it was on my property.After that 90 minute delay, I had the "pleasure" of joining other parents and students as we all walked like very slow penguins across the school parking lot. Thank god I have the best boyfriend in the world (not forgetting the fact that he is a Prince, royalty)! He never fails to be by my side through good and bad times (though we've only been together officially for 17 days).
I remember that fine day at MOS when my sister's wallet got picked, and I suddenly had low blood pressure (somewhat blacked out but not completely) that almost ended me in the hospital.

I was never entirely sure, during my first two pregnancies, whether I was carrying like a watermelon or like a basketball. I always suspected I was vaguely more watermelonish. This time, the belly is definitely higher and more out in front - aha, basketball.

The power of the word shows up over and over again. The specific words that you say, what you express, the fears you share , most often come true. Words are so powerful They can be the worst weapons if they are used to hurt someone. They are like bullets- verbal bullets that can cripple and kill.
The latest example of what I am referring to can be clearly seen with Duane DOG Chapman’s N word incident. In his argument with his son Tucker, DOG clearly stated that it wasn’t the problem that the girl his son was dating was Black,. He even stated that he didn’t care of she was Mexican or anything else. But if he truly felt that way, why use a verbal bullet and describe her as a N word.
What DOG apparently did care about was that he didn’t want anyone around him who was of color who had the potential of exposing the fact that he freely uses the N word in reference to some of the nefarious characters he hunts down. He didn’

Dianne Wiest is hilarious as the prima donna star actress Helen Sinclair, for whom David soon develops an infatuation as she has him entirely under the thumb. He begins to compromise his artistic integrity, even taking writing advice from Cheech, effectively rewriting the whole play. Jim Broadbent plays Warner Purcell, a talented but over-the-hill British actor with a compulsive eating habit whenever he gets nervous. Have you ever had one of those days where you thought everything was going to be a disaster and then it came together and worked out just fine?I had one of those days today for my daughter's first birthday party.
