Unlike other classes, all three warlock talent trees are versatile enough to be useful in leveling, end-game PVE and PVP, although each will fit in better than the other with a particular role. But unlike a priest, or a druid, getting a different talent build for your warlock won't change your role and your playing style in PVE or PVP, it will just change the way you approach a fight and the way you make use of your new found strengths. Let's start with a few Warlock leveling builds, then we'll pass on to PVE and PVP builds at level 70. World of Warcraft Warlock Leveling Talent Build – Affliction The affliction tree is considered by many as the best for leveling warlocks because it offers endless abilities to regenerate even in mid-fight, heavily reducing downtimes. Anyways, here's ho

      Sanyo builds world’s brightest projector!
Hello everyone! Its been sometime since there’s been an update from my side. So here it goes. I recently stumbled on Sanyo newest projector and this is what I found. Sanyo has built  TWO-LAMP projectors, the LP-XF70 and widescreen version, the LPWF20. These projectors can emit upto 9000 lumens, the brightest in its class. They use the Active maintenance filter system to reduce cost and time in maintainence. I never knew a filter could do all that. Anyway when you say 9000 lumens, that means it should take up a lot of power to do so, but thanks to new technologies from Sanyo, the electricity consumption on this model is 37% less compared to the existing model, which means 160% increase in light efficiency. The dimensions are 530mm ( width), 267.5mm (height) and weighs 27.6 kgs. Hmm, when I had the first look, I thought this projector is way beyond the normal size, which ofcourse some of the old industrial ones did. But I’m assuming the model in the above image is of a cons

A couple of bad software builds & getting push email on an iPhone
We have been delivered a couple of the worst system test builds I have ever encountered this week, and that is saying something. Our lot, the developers, are allowed to get away with blue murder. They check squat. They perform the most pathetic smoke test that they can get away with which results in days of firefighting just to get the system test build working. For our second disaster of the week today I got quite annoyed, having organised numerous very structured tests for last night, which predictably failed, not the test themselves, but another lump of funtionality that was failing and has been for a while and that nobody has ever noticed. The idea was to rerun the test tonight but there was fat chance of that with our latest delivered mess, so I will be taking tomorrow off on holiday. I hope the suddeness of it, and some people realising I wasn’t too impressed with the latest build, might make people make a connection and possibly get their act together. But I’m not ex

Not Quite Gilligan’s Island: Man (Re)Builds Island Paradise on 250,000 Recycled Plastic Bottles
When Richie Sowa’s tropical island paradise was destroyed in Hurricane Emily in 2005, it contained a two-story house, a self composting toilet, solar oven and three beautiful beaches. Pretty modest as far as private islands go, you think, except that Richie’s island was floated on plastic bottles - 250,000 of them to be exact. Spiral Island, as it was called, was the result of the life-long environmentalist’s efforts to demonstrate sustainable living. Now, Richie is back to building his new island and this time his plans are even more ambitious. Not content with the original design that had bamboo and plywood netting loaded with sand and complete with planted mangroves, all laid out on a bed of plastic bottles, Richie now plans to design the island so it can float out to sea. An island and yacht in one! It’s located in Mexico, and this time Richie plans to make sure it resists the vagaries of the weather. So is this plastic bottle, sand and bamboo contraption an island o

How Owning A Pet Teaches Your Children Responsibility And Builds Confidence
Article Title: How Owning A Pet Teaches Your ChildrenResponsibility And Builds ConfidenceAuthor: Elise RogersSome people say that every boy should own a dog. It certainlyagrees with the classic American family: Dad, Mom, Son,Daughter, and their dog. Though not all families are able to owna pet, children benefit in many ways because of this caninefamilial addition. To begin, owning a dog benefits the physical health ofchildren. How? Scientific studies have shown that when a personpats a dog or strokes a cat, their blood pressure lowers. Thishelps relax the child and relieves stress after a long day atschool. Some studies have also shown that children who own apet, particularly a dog, have more highly developed immunesystems than children who do not own a pet. This is most likelybecause children are not afraid to hug their dog and smothertheir face in the not-always-clean coat of their dog; by doingthis, children are able to slowly build and strengthen theirdisease and s

Crazy eights! MTM builds an 888-hp Audi R8
The Audi R8 is apparently a tempting platform for tuners. We’ve seen sketches of the Abt Audi R8, we spotted the APR Audi R8 at the 2007 SEMA Show, and we recently took a look at the carbon fiberized PPI Audi R8. MTM, those crazy Germans who built the twin-engine, 740-hp Audi TT Bimoto, brought their own version of the R8 to the Dubai Motor Show. Although visually subtle, a turbocharger system has been added to the 4.2-liter V8 for a total of 888 bhp and 610 lb-ft torque. 0-60 mph can be achieved in 3.0 seconds flat, and top speed is limited to 223 mph. MTM built the car, fittingly named the R888, as a one-off for a European customer, but they will gladly build more of them for a mere €280,000 each.                                            (more…)

Aerobic Exercises Burn off Fat and Weightlifting Builds Muscle?
Burning Fat Generally, many people will do cardio exercises and forget all about weight training exercises when it comes to burning fat. A lot of trainers swear that aerobic exercises burn off fat and weightlifting is only used to build muscle. This isn’t entirely correct, however, because the more muscle mass one builds, the more one will burn fat calories, even at rest. There is a growing trend from cardiovascular to weight training exercises. According to a study by the Fitness Products Council and Sporting Goods Manufacturers, the number of people lifting free weights has increased 76 percent in the past decade. Currently, weightlifting is among the most popular sports in North America. This change is for the best because cardiovascular activity combined with weight training will result in much more effective fat loss. Cardiovascular exercises will raise muscle metabolism during the activity and for a short time after the exercise session. (see http://newweightlossreview.c

It is vain for you to rise early andput off your rest at night,to eat bread earned by hard toil -All this God gives to his beloved in sleep. Children too are a gift from the LORD,the fruit of the womb, a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warriorare the children born in one's youth. Velvet Revolver - She Builds Quick Machines
Not bad, not bad at all! The new Velvet Revolver sounds good. “She Builds Quick Machines” is from their new album Libertad. Great to see that Slash is again using his hat. It reminds me the good old days of Gun’s and Roses. Damn, Scott Weiland sounds also good! They say, Duff McKagan asked Scott at gym to join Velvet Revolver. Scott had just broken up with Stone Temple Pilots and had been arrested on his birthday after a traffic collision. I’m glad that Scott joined Velvet Revolver. His voice definately fits with Revolver’s sound.

      Wenger Builds Quietly
While most of the attention today was on the aftermath of the Emirates Cup and the countdown to the Amsterdam Tournament, some quiet building work went on at Arsenal as Gilles Sunu, Kyle Bartley, Anton Blackwood, and would you believe it, Tom Cruise were added to the listed ranks of reserves. Without any disrespect to Blackwood and the Cruiser I'll concentrate my article on the first two. The Sunu signing was announced earlier in the year, but then everything went deathly quiet. There were even some whispers that the deal had not gone through. Dubbed the new Thierry Henry, but hopefully an entirely different and original phenomenon, Sunu joins Vela, Merida, Bazarite and Gibbs as the latest attacking starlet in the next gen bubbling away in the reserves at Arsenal. Recent rumours circulated that Bartley had been pinched from under our noses by Manchester City, but these have thankfully proved to be unfounded. As a result we should be looking forward to the developm

Pressure Builds to Ban Plastic Bags
Annapolis, MD stands next in line to ban the use of plastic bags from all retail stores. The bill, which goes to a final City Council vote in October, 2007, is aimed at protecting marine life in, and around, Chesapeake Bay. San Francisco enacted a plastic bag ban in April that applies to larger grocery stores and drug stores. Boston; Baltimore; Oakland, CA; Portland, OR; Santa Monica, CA; and Steamboat Springs, CO are also considering similar measures. Plastic takes more than 1,000 years to biodegrade, and 100 billion plastic bags are manufactured each year. Considering the fact that, nationally, only one percent of all plastic bags get recycled, that’s an awful lot of plastic bags laying around in landfills. Not to mention collecting in the ever-growing “Eastern Garbage Patch”--a plastic stew that floats around in the Pacific Ocean. Critics say paper bags are bulkier and therefore require more trucks and fuel to transport, creating even more pollution. But, making 100 b

      WETA builds real life Warthog
Frankie over at Bungie.net shares this during his weekly update: The dudes at WETA made a Warthog. I don’t mean that they made a big plastic thing that looks like a Warthog. I mean they built a fully-functioning, four-wheel steering, powerful, off-road vehicle with a machine gun on the back. At the correct scale. If you live near Wellington, New Zealand, you might even see some crazy machine-shop dude from WETA fishtailing around your base, ahem, I mean neighborhood. What’s it for? Well, a couple of things – one of which will be one of the shorts coming from director Neill Blomkamp. We sort of blindsided you guys with the first short (Arms Race) – it had little to no context or explanation, but when you see it as it was originally intended – as part of an overall narrative, you might just pee your pants. And if you don’t, then the picture below will certainly cause some leakage. Goddamn. It’s a Warthog. [source] Discuss in forum (0) Share This

Hey. you didn’t think i could do it, but there’s even more from Krysta Doerfler via Fine Homebuilding regarding her enthusiasm for building new homes: Recently, we were visited by a couple of builders from Habitat for Humanity and I asked how I could help. They were so glad to see my interest. I feel that getting involved is simply a win-for-all situation. It helps me to become better at my job, and I get to help a community build someone a new home. I think thats a pretty fair deal. We had some builders come over to our company and we were quite impressed with their commitment in making sure that the building was up to code and ready to re-open. Its also going to help improve our current relationship with other companies in the same area with regards to the upgraded building codes! Krista mentioned in her blog that getting involved with what the builders were doing was a positive outcome when it came to finishing up her new home. I am not sure if her magazine covers more
