In the last month EMG has moved workshops.
We are renting workshop space in a new premise shared with Maitland Radiators, on the outskirts of Newcastle. EMG use companies from the Rutherford and Beresfield areas so it works well for improved production and distribution of our electric golf buggies. When in the area, please call in and see us, we are situated off High street (main street Maitlan
You have probably noticed that we have had ads in the 2 recent golfer magazines. First add was a tech review in which our buggy was placed in the Electric golf buggy section for Tech reviews for 2009 which circulated throughout Australia. 2nd add circulated around NSW and the ACT. Have to make mention of the second buggy add constructed by the golfer team it looks fantastic. If you mention either

When Deeds was born, I upgraded to a tandem stroller. I found one that I thought was a good choice, only it didn't have a parent cup holder. I didn't think this was a big deal at the time, but after using the stroller on several outings, IT DEFINITELY WAS! Mama is grouchy when she gets thirsty.
I was so relieved when I found a drink-holding solution in the simple genius that is Think King Soft
[Cross-posted] When I was younger, software developers did this thing called testing, which doesn’t seem to happen these days. It was such a radical idea. They would test the product and when we used it, it would work! How cool! Nowadays, everything is so full of bugs and you need a computing degree to understand the manual. I was reminded of this today with t
The upcoming Mega Man 9 is making our hearts glow brighter with every piece of news. The game's designed to look and feel like our old NES 8-bit Mega Man titles, and now the word comes in from Gamasutra that the game's going to have some programming bugs that will make the 8-bit experience even more authentic. "We purposely put some of those old-school bugs into this game, so it does r
On behalf of Muree Ladies Golf I would like to thank EMG and Trish for helping sponsor our Open Day this year.

Trish set up a wonderful display of the EMG Buggies and was kept very busy with potential buyers asking lots of questions and watching dem

I can't take it anymore. I don't even want to go outside on these beautiful summer days. The cicadas are everywhere around our area, EVERYWHERE. I know they don't bite or sting, but the sheer size and noise of them makes me shudder when they fly anywhere near me. They are loudest in the morning, and the noise ebbs and flows. It ramps up sometimes and the noise is clearly audible right through

At EMG, we are always upgrading components to further our electric golf buggies performance, reliability and strength. My demonstration golf buggy has two of the latest modifications that will most likely appear within the next twelve months on the production model. We like to test these components for at least twelve months then go through the process of making the components simple to manufacturer. My buggy has a remote control stop/start which seems to be quite good once you get used to the way it works. Refinements are needed as the buggy can run out of distance to the remote control depending on the surfaces. Next step is to incorporate an aerial which I am sure will help overall distance. In saying that the buggy will travel in front of you easily at a 20 metre range which I think i

As Owen grows we are needing to expand his little buggy a bit. We built a new seat out of tubing and a little padding and extended the side out a bit. Hopefully it will now be big enough for Owen for a while and some of his cousins as well.

Don't they look like they are ready for their nap? This picture makes me laugh. This is John, Lauren, and Tyler's preschool class. The picture was taken just before they had their Easter egg hunt last Wednesday. I love the look on the kid's face in the Gap jacket (sitting by Lauren). This is two strollers the one on the right is probably twice as heavy as the one on the left. Ms. Dana (a sub that day) got the heavy stroller.
I just noticed this while digging some random stuff on the Upcoming page and found this little bug. When a submission has 2 diggs the button says "2 diggs s" (click the screenshot). Try it for yourself and let the developers know by digging this up.
Locals Central Coast, Newcastle, and Sydney, EMG has been personally delivering buggies to these areas for quiet some time. Robert takes you through all the procedures from; assembling the buggy, fitting the battery, fitting your bag and showing how to use the ON/OFF switch and how to adjust the speed controller to your desired speed. He will also manoeuvre the buggy as if it’s on the golf course to show you how the buggy can be steered in tricky conditions. Knowing this from the outset, gives you an insight on how we have designed the buggy and how the design works best in its natural environment.
Yesterday (27th January 2008) was my first opportunity to test the prototype remote control electric golf buggy. Shannon and I played a round at Beresfield Golf Course (Newcastle NSW Australia) and I was quite impressed with the remote option. The change to the base model includes a standard on/off remote control unit similar to the ones used for garage door openers or to disable security systems. It works as an override to the existing built in on off switch of the buggy. The remote is a simple keyring type control with two soft touch buttons.Range was around 20m, once it exceeds this range the buggy will continue on its course, some care is required to ensure that it is not accidentally driven into a dam.A few aspects which I would think worthy of revision if it ever reaches the producti
The Baja 5B is a rear wheel drive 1/5th scale off-road buggy that is nearly 32 inches in length! Its design is revolutionary for large scale RC Cars following the style of classic Baja buggies with long suspension arms for great ground clearance and large suspension travel. The big size allows the Baja 5B to go where smaller buggies cannot and makes the Baja 5B driving experience as close as you can get to the real thing. The Baja 5B is big, but coming as a Ready To Run car, and powered by unleaded petrol it cannot be easier to get ready for action. Everything is included in the kit - a preassembled Baja 5B chassis with high quality FM radio gear and a preinstalled massive 23cc petrol engine providing plenty of power. All you need to do is fill up with standard unleaded petrol, add some oi
I tried to login into Second Life just now but an error message greeted me.
The error message was “Login Failed. The inventory system is currently unavailable!” Before I was only freezing but now I can’t login and reading through Second Life’s official blog it seems that I’m not the only who experienced this error. Many residents are experiencing this login error and according to the blog that this error “is likely to last until tomorrow”!!!
A few residents are saying that the problem is with the user or with the computer running the client and not Second Life. Now, this is untrue because if it was true then why would Linden Labs post updates regarding these errors. There is a problem within the internal system of Second Life and they should find long term solutions for it and not short term ones. Informing the public about these errors or problems is one thing but actually fixing it is another.
Every week we see the same problems and every we

Shock and confusion hit the Amish community today as 58 year old Jebediah Smucker was arrested for reckless driving, attempted hit and run, and attempted vehicular manslaughter when he ran down 22 year old Johnny Long John with his horse and buggy.
Long John, a film director, was racing away on his bicycle after Jebediah found pictures of his daughter 18 year old Mary Bridgett Smucker naked in her bedroom. He is listed in stable condition after a touch and go few days in the hospital. USuxxors.com was able to interview Mr. Long John in his hospital bed.
“I was like oh my God dude” said Johnny. “I’m just riding down the country road on my bicycle when this guy with a long beard starts racing his horse at me. Man I’m like that horse must be custom build cuz that thing was fast. So I start peddling as fast as I could but he caught up to me and the next thing I know I got this horse on top of me.”
USuxxors asked the man why he was riding through Ami

Google News Alert for: Sathya Sai Baba
Thousands disappointed as Sai Baba’s ‘moon miracle’ fails
Waning popularity! This was no doubt another in a long, long line of calculated ‘rumours’ for the grinding minds of devotees who can’t find out what’s going on and are dead keen to know anything… But why Sathya Sai Baba went to the airport is truly a mystery in itself, for he knew he could never appear on the moon. How can this be explained? There are many possible interpretations (for the blindfolded believer to choose between)…
1) He was on the moon allright but the clouds were necessary to hide his blinding brilliance.
2) But perhaps the crowds misunderstood him and expected a great mahima miracle… instead of the vague shape of the Sai afro frizz which can just about be visualised from the moon’s darker area. His afro-frizz can vaguely be seen if one is very willing i
(more…)

Drinking and driving, as in whilst under the influence, is not something we condone here at TFTS but in the case of this Remote Controlled Beverage Buggy we cannot help but make an exception.
Great for those days whilst lazing around outside or when watching a game on television to find – to your horror – that you’re fresh out of beer, the Remote Controlled Beverage Buggy could prove to be a lifesaver (well, not quite a lifesaver but handy nonetheless).
Capable of carrying two tins by way of passengers, the Beverage Buggy retails for $37. The only problem is that you’ll need someone by the cooler to load her up which is why we cannot help but wonder if there is any way that this can be paired up with the previously featured Beer Serving Robot for the ultimate in remote beer delivery systems.

Now this is great, imagine that you are out in the garden having a couple of drinks, when you run out. You have get up off the sun lounger and go inside and so on. But is you had a beverage buggy then all you would need to have with you is the remote control, then you can drive the buggy out and there have it, a nice and cool drinks, because they have been kept out of the sun, and you could have also placed a couple cube if ice with the bottles or cans.
The buggy is good for a bit of laugh, but I am thinking that it may not be quite as simple as that, getting the buggy to come to you is one thing, getting there in one piece or rather with both bottle intact is another.
Priced at $37.46.

This little guy definitely has potential but it doesn’t completely solve the problem. Sure it will allow you to deliver a couple of ice cold boggs to yourself or friends but how are said boggs going to get out of the fridge and into this remote control delivery chariot? You could use it to resupply your opponents on the far end of a beer pong table or drive a couple of keg cups from the filling station to friends. I guess you could nominate a “non-sober designated driver” who would stand near the boggs supply and kindly reload the buggy and drive it over to friends in need. $40 bucks isn’t going to break the bank but I have a feeling the novelty would where off somewhere around the fourth delivery.

If you are a MSN user , you probably have been bombarded every time with a message that a new version of MSN came out, and at some point you will give in and install that version.
What i really hated about MSN Live:
- The MSN team definitely did not do it's homework in migration
My groups were disordered and old ones appeared once again that i deleted years ago.
I have no idea where it came from, even old contact that i banned or deleted.
It was a MESS i tell you.
- These pesky message regarding approval of someone seeing my profile updated? The whole notion is strange, i could care less of it.
And the best part, when i clicked on Pending Requests , i got this popup window that contained a few profiles that somehow ( for them) requested my approval on updates.
I decided to see who the person is and clicked on the View Profile that was supposed to show me some icon and quick info
and this is what i got:

Yesterday I heard that a particularly complex application was put live despite having numerous defects. It turned out that it had been tested reasonably thoroughly and numerous bugs found and fixed. The problem was that fixing one bug resulted in other bugs being created. This is a classic situation where there was some basic design issues and also some serious communication problems between the developer and the designer.
Eventually someone senior decided that the software had been tested enough and it was to go live. Needless to say it mashed up their data pretty good and they had some serious problems for months afterwards.
Not sure how I feel about someone saying the software had been tested enough. I think they were fed up with the tester finding bugs so decided to stop them doing so by removing the software from the test arena and springing it into the live arena. Sort of care in the community for software.
Why someone is allowed to say it has been tested enough whilst bugs are
I have been experiencing a little weirdness when I select Review Gallery these past 2 days. When I click on it (in the lefthand menu) I get a page with maybe only 2 reviews. Then if i click again, I could get only reviews of men's shirts. Click again, and I could get old reviews from January or February. This has happened on two computers in my house, so I am wondering if it is the site? Anybody else notice anything??? -- Edited on 8/19/07 0:12 AM --Last post by Vonnevo at Sun 19 Aug 2007 11:19:07 PM Total posts: 19
