Strip headliner Toni Braxton has been admitted to a local hospital.
Braxton was admitted to St. Rose Dominican Hospital sometime after her show Monday night at the Flamingo.
Hospital officials said she is in good condition.
It is not clear why she is in the hospital, but Braxton does have a heart condition called pericarditis, an inflammation of the sac surrounding the heart. The beautiful and talented Toni Braxton turns an amazing 40 years old today, October 7th. The singer, songwriter, and actress is incredibly gifted and has earned 6 Grammy awards. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) named Braxton as one of the top selling artists of all time.
On a personal note, Mrs. Braxton is married to Keri Lews, of the Mint Condition group, and has two cute little boys - Denim and Diezel. And due to her amazing beauty, she was on People magazine’s most beautiful list in 1994. She is also reportedly working hard on her next album, due in 2008.
