A fairly new travel website that has got a lot of traffic recently is Brave New Traveler. Not a destination based website, but more about the experience. They have a lot of interesting and unique articles written by a wealth of travelers.
Brave New Travel recently announced that they would start paying for content. Currently they pay $20 for a 400-700 word post.

I recently discovered an excellent travel blog, Brave New Traveler. I suggested to the Editor, Ian MacKenzie, that home exchange would make a perfect topic for a blog which is described as an 'on-line travel magazine for the 21st century, offering tips and advice on all types of travel', and Ian immediately responded - positively - even providing a good idea for a post which I published earlier this week, Six Good Reasons to Try a Home Exchange.

I have exciting news to share. Brave New Traveler has just published an article I wrote about my time on the Navajo Reservation. Please go check it out! It is my first article for someone else! I am really excited about it!
A little while back, I’d mentioned the open nomination for the Travvies, the brand new travel blog awards initiated by Mark Ashley.
Yesterday, they announced the finalists, as chosen by their panel of prestigious judges, and I’m happy to report that Brave New Traveler made the cut for two categories:
Best Travel Blog
Best Group Written Travel Blog
I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t exciting to be in the running with the ranks of Newyorkology, Vagablogging, along with the rest of the deserving finalists.
I couldn’t have done it without our fantastic guest contributors, writing quality posts week after week. And of course, a big thank you to our readers, who nominated Brave New Traveler in the first place.
