Magam a Beatles/Rolling Stones/Shadows/Spotnicks/Illés zenei pentagram bűvöletében nőttem fel, s minek tagadjam: a Beatles dalait mai napig is dúdolgatom.
I have decided I am only allowed to watch an hour of fox news a day. I realized after my last post, than I have become brainwashed by their republican propaganda to the point where I almost agree with what they are saying!!!! I feel empathy! ew!!!!!!! I actually said O'Reilly isn't stupid! what is wrong with me? I need to just watch Bill Maher for a day straight, hopefully that will cure me from my conservativitis. Which, reminds me I think I have pink eye as punishment...Isn't the picture great?-NUtjob
As the liberal push is in high gear to indoctrinate our children into the whole global warming hoax it appears as though more and more realists are starting to fight back. At least I hope so.
“We are also brainwashing our children on the warming topic. We have no better example than Al Gore’s alarmists and inaccurate movie [...]
Do you have one of those spouses that seem to NEVER believe what you say until it's been verified by an unimpeachable third-party source? My wife is like that. I could say that the sky is blue and grass is green, but until she hears it from an environmental scientist or botanist, I'm just [...]
This is not a battle between two thoughts. It's just words. Words. Yea and they're not designed for anyone or to influence others to go and do stuff. Oh boy do i wish so many more people would read this and come by and tell me how great i am. If only everyone would stop what they were doing and watch me create stuff or even better tell me what to do. Let's tell each other what to do. You go do this and then I'll go do that and then you can get back to me and tell me how clever I am. That would be great. Oh by the way there is a place where you can go to tell others to come back here so I can have even more people tell me how clever I am and confirm my misinterpretations and misguided untruths. Sweet.
Okay, so this story from Florida's wftv.com is not as entertaining as it sounds. Still, you have to love the title, "Mayor Claims He Was Abducted By Satanists." I think the people of Centerton, Arkansas, should probably be relieved that this guy resigned.Anybody else fondly remember the hysteria over Satanic cults that swept America in the 1980s? As if fundamentalist Christians needed anything else to make them appear crazy!Tags: Arkansas, brainwashing, mayor, Satanists, Satanic cults, America, hysteria, fundamentalist
I attended public school as a child and a public university as an adult. One thing my instructors consistently taught me throughout the years, either explicitly and implicitly (regardless of the subject), was this: Only brainwashed morons could be Christians.
Since I am a Christian and am not a brainwashed moron, I feel this sentiment begs an argument. I will ignore the flagrant condescension
I attended public school as a child and a public university as an adult. One thing my instructors consistently taught me throughout the years, either explicitly and implicitly (regardless of the subject), was this: Only brainwashed morons could be Christians.Since I am a Christian and am not a brainwashed moron, I feel this sentiment begs an argument. I will ignore the flagrant condescension inherent in the claim and instead focus only on its most important (and false) assumption: That the evidence for the historicity of Christ does not warrant rational belief, and that you would therefore have to be a moron to put your faith in it.I believe that this assumption is rooted in three major misconceptions:The New Testament is not a reliably historical account of events and belongs more appropr
The number of health problems that could be avoided with a change away from fast food eating habits is huge. The amount of money that could be saved on life insurance if that habit were shot and left for dead would be huge. But ours’ is a society that is easily addicted.
Fast food, and the American addiction to it, has led to epidemics of obesity, diabetes and heart disease, just to name the big three. Just so I don’t get that scary looking Burger King guy yelling at me, there are other risk factors that play into those diseases and no body is physically twisting our arms to eat the stuff. Physically no, but mentally they are doing a very good job.
In a Forbes article today they revealed a recent study that basically showed that you could wrap anything in a MacDonald’s wrapper and kids thought it was good. Actually the study had to do with branding and you really couldn’t put just anything in the wrapper. But, as a doctor from Yale points out, “This study

BBC:
Iraq's vice-president claims Tony Blair was "brainwashed" by President Bush into not setting a timetable for troop withdrawal from Iraq.
Tareq al-Hashemi suggested Mr Blair had supported his idea of announcing a timetable, but then changed his mind after talking to Mr Bush.
The two leaders discussed the issue about three months ago, after which the PM was to raise the issue with Mr Bush.
The US president has so far refused to set a timetable for troop withdrawals.
Speaking in New York, Mr Hashemi said Mr Blair had been convinced by his proposal for a timetable for withdrawal.
He told the Council on Foreign Relations: "It is quite unfortunate that your president made a sort of blackmail out of Mr Blair."
