In my match report yesterday, I rated Hleb as man of the match. Now I would go so far as to state that Hleb is the most gifted player in the current Arsenal squad. He has improved his tenacity this season, and has an inner core of steel necessary for the midfield battering which all Arsenal midfielders must face, double footed tackles, late trips, and over the top "foot in" sheer dirty play.

As I pondered who I would choose as this weeks fantasy football MVP, there were a few performances that stood out to me.
There was Rob Bironas’ eight field goals in wild game in Houston. For every guys lucky enough to start him there was another guy really pissed off about losing because of him.
Then there was back-up running back Kenny Watson’s three TD, 130 yard performance against the Jets. You know Marshawn Lynch is licking his chops as he watches the game tape on this one.
Those performances most likely were difference makers in fantasy football contests everywhere and they without a doubt deserve their props. However, there is one performance that stands far and above the rest. (more…)
Finally some eye candy for both our male and female readers. Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady enjoy a day off from their glamorous careers, international supermodel and superstar NFL quarterback, respectively. We’d like to apologize to our female readers for the unfair balance of pictures. It seems the camera man was only interested in Gisele’s hot bikini body and totally ignored hunky Tom. It looks like to us that the photographer may not have even realized the mystery man that Gisele is gazing upon was the New England Patriots quarterback.

Tom Brady threw a team-record six touch downs leading to a victory over the Miami Dolphins. Brady has been an incredible icon in the world of football. An all American, handsome, cordial, California native, Brady has set the world of football on fire. After his impressive win over the Dolphins, reporters swarmed Brady asking him question after question. After one reporter asked, “What inspires you when you’re on the field?” Brady silenced the crowd when he blurted out: “My girlfriend’s vagina!” After a very pregnant pause, the reporter asked, “Is that it?” Brady did try to follow up, but still let most of the reporters down: “Oh God no! destroyed the Miami Dolphins today. The result of the game will surprise and shock nobody, but the play of Tom Brady is shocking the world. During todays game Brady completed 21 of 25 passes for 364 yards and 6 touchdowns. Most of that coming in the first half, as New England went to the reserves late in the 3rd quarter.
After watching Tom Brady’s performance today I have to wonder if anyone can stop this man. At one point late in the second quarter Brady had completed 11-of-11 for 220 yards and 4 touchdowns. When Miami’s defense managed to get Brady in a bad situation he was still able to make the plays.The Patriots had a 3rd and 18 situation late in the 2nd quarter, the Miami defense set into a nickel package with extra defensive backs. Tom Brady took the snap and delivered the ball to Randy Moss for a 50-yard scoring strike.

There has been a lot written and said about the Cowboys/Patriots game on Sunday afternoon and for good reason. On Sunday there is no doubt the Dallas Cowboys, current undefeated masters at NFC East, will be facing one of the toughest contenders: New England Patriots. Both are carrying a 5-0 record so far (something that’s happening to Dallas for the first time since 1983) and are really confident about their offensive power.
