So yesterday a client of mine calls and he's trying to get a hotel for last night because we had a meeting this morning. Every single hotel in the Boston area was sold out. One of the Doubletree Marriots had 1 room available for $855 and one of airport hotels had 1 room for $600. Needless to say, his company was not going to pay that kind of money for hotel room.We eventually found him a room at a reasonable rate, but its pretty amazing.
