Brabus have released there new customisation program for the latest face-lifted Mercedes-Benz SLK. The program consists of aerodynamic enhancements, custom alloy wheels, suspension as well as a power upgrade.Brabus' 6.1 litre version of Mercedes' V8 engine takes the power up from 360 hp to a hefty 445 hp compared to the AMG 5.5 litre unit. All this power is transfered to the wheels through a seven-speed automatic gearbox and Brabus' own limited-slip differential. The high-performance tuning company brought three models for the renowned auto show. Of all the products in Mercedes’ stable that could benefit from a thorough tweaking, the McLaren SLR isn’t one of them. But Brabus has built its name on taking things to the illogical extreme, and its modification of the new SLR Roadster is no different.
Equipped with a new set of cams, exhaust and a system to cool the fuel, the blown V8 now produces an additional 23 HP that’s sent through the stock transmission and down to a clutch-type LSD. 0-to-60 times drop down to 3.6 seconds and the top speed has been increased to 209 mph.

I’m a big fan on Mercedes, have to state that from the beginning. But this is not a stock car, is an exclusive model "fixed" by Brabus, the home tuner of Mercedes vehicles, under the name Mercedes Classe S V12 S Biturbo, by Brabus. How do you get a super car? Well, you take one of the most beautiful luxury coupes out there, the Mercedes CL600, you give it a 6.3 liter V12 engine that produces 730 hp and takes the car to 340 km/h (210 mph), you give the engine some tweaks, so it can be legal and you also equipped it with a lot of expensive gadgets and materials…and what you get? You have maybe the most amazing and powerful super coupe in the world, the new Brabus SV12 Biturbo Coupe.
Now let’s see…why do we say it’s the most powerful and amazing? Because, as we said, the V12 engine has 730 hp, goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.0 seconds, 200 km/h after just 11.9 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 340 km/h. To make this engine legal, the Brabus engineers had to install a unique crankshaft with a longer stroke, increase the cylinder bore and add new forged pistons, precision-machine the cylinder heads and finally, fit them with four special camshafts.

Inside it sports a ridamdiculous 6.3-liter, BiTurbocharged V12 engine, so its safe to say the Brabus Rocket CLS ain’t your average family car. Crowned “The World’s fastest luxury sedan”, at just $469,400 the Brabus Rocket pushes out 730hp and 974 pounds peak torque and shoot up to 225mph with ease. 0 - 60 is just 4.0 seconds and 0-120 is 10 which is complete bananas, and I dont believe to be street legal, in the states that is. Brabus never fails to deliver tuned Mercedes-Benz cars and trucks that pack a wallop underhood and looks to match. If the car wears Brabus badging, chances are it's going to walk the walk. This is the case with the just-announced Brabus C-Class tuning program. When equipped with the tuner's available 4.0L engine upgrade, the C packs 332 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. This means a 0-100 km/h (62mph) time of 5.9 seconds and a top end in the neighborhood of 170 miles per hour. Not shabby at all for the new baby Benz. Its well balanced aerodynamic properties make the Brabus Widestar a perfectly suited to serve as the platform for a tuned version of the ML 63. The latter was developed by the Brabus motor engineers in form of the B63 S performance kit. The production V8 engine delivers 503 bhp. It is fitted with sport air filters and high-performance metal catalysts as well as newly programmed engine electronics with custom mapping for ignition and injection. Together these measures result in an increase in power output by 47 bhp to 550 bhp. Simultaneously peak torque grows 480 lb-ft. Vehicle performance benefits accordingly. The sprint from rest to 62 mph is shortened to 4.9 seconds. The engine tuning and installation of the Brabus V/max unit increase the top speed from 155 mph to 170 mph.

And, if the Italians have a 640bhp Lamborghini Murcielargo LP640, is the time now for the Germans to show what a real police car means. So, they offered a Brabus, based on the Mercedes Benz CLS. Brabus Rocket set the record for the world’s fastest production saloon, by hitting 227.2 mph at the Nardo high speed bowl in Italy. The car is used as a PR exercise, but the Rocket is very real and can be yours for £235,178. For this price you will get a great modified Mercedes V12, which starts life as a mere 5.5 litres in the S-Class. Brabus has also a couple of turbochargers and a performance exhaust system to ramp up the power to a 730 bhp. The peak torque is of 973 lb/ft, 5 speed automatic gearbox, accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 4.0 seconds, 12 piston callipers grabbing on to enormous ceramic brakes and 19 inch alloy wheels. We expected Brabus to come along with hot rod version of the new smart fortwo model, but the German tuner will actually be bringing two models two Geneva: the fortwo Brabus and fortwo Brabus Xclusive. The smart fortwo Brabus gives the European motoring public what it has come to expect from the company, a high-performance version of the fortwo sporting a 98bhp/103 ft-lbs. of torque version of the car's three-cylinder engine. That 103 ft-lbs. of torque is 100% available to your right foot at 5,500 RPM, but considering the car weighs only 1,700 lbs. or so, the estimated 0-62 mph time of under ten seconds seems reasonable. The car is lowered 15 mm on a Brabus tuned sport suspension and tucks a larger set of "Monoblock VI" wheels within wider fender flares. A sport exhaust system and new fog lights round out the exterior package.
