Durante el día de ayer, el cantante, que no quiso hacer ningún tipo de declaración, se presentó en la comisaría junto a su abogado en donde fue interrogado por los hechos de los que se le acusa, tras lo cual fue puesto en libertad bajo fianza y citado para el próximo 22 de noviembre en los juzgados de la capital inglesa.

Former Culture Club singer Boy George has been charged with false imprisonment after allegedly chaining a male escort to the wall of his London flat.
The 47-year-old 80’s pop star, real name George O’Dowd - was charged on earlier this week over the incident which took place at his flat in Shoreditch, East London, in April this year (07). He was released on bail on Tuesday morning (13Nov07).
Boy George will return to the capital’s Thames Magistrates Court on 22 November (07) for a further hearing.
The last time the singer has been in trouble with the law - the star was ordered to undergo community service in New York in 2006 after pleading guilty to falsely reporting a burglary at his Manhattan apartment.
Forty-seven year old George ODown has been formally charged with the false imprisonment of a twenty-eight year old London resident. Hardly his first run in with police, the former Culture Club lead singer has been arrested numerous times since he split with the multi-platinum band in 1987. Details are still fuzzy at this point, but it appears Boy George unlawfully held the much younger man inside his residence for an unknown period of time back in April

Ok, it's not a rapper getting in trouble this time. It's Boy George! The English pop star is in trouble again. My man Boy George was arrested on suspicion of assault and wrongful imprisonment last Saturday morning after one of his male acquaintance filed a complaint against him.
LONDON (Reuters) - British singer Boy George was arrested and released on bail after a 28-year-old man accused the former Culture Club frontman of “false imprisonment and common assault”.
A police spokeswoman said he had been bailed to appear in July pending further inquiries.
The alleged incident took place in the early hours of Saturday in east London.
Representatives for the singer, whose real name is George O’Dowd, were not immediately available for comment.
But his brother Kevin was quoted by the NME music magazine as saying that George was not annoyed and found the allegations “hilarious”.
The arrest was the latest run-in with the law for the 45-year-old cross-dressing lead singer of British 1980s chart-toppers Culture Club.
Last year he was ordered to sweep the streets of Manhattan by a U.S. court after charges stemming from an incident when police responded to his call reporting a burglary and found cocaine in his apartment
