Today I spent the day in clean, green Boulder City. Despite the severely restricted growth, there is some new construction going on there. Several new homes are being finished in Lake Mead View Estates. Some of the views are spectacular and the homes aren't bad either! The community is located just off US 93 on your way to Lake Mead.
After touring the community, we took a break and made a pit stop at Hemening Way park. It has great views of Lake Mead and attracts all sorts of visitors. A few minutes later, several females came to join him for lunch. Apparently they are regular visitors because there are signs up everywhere stating that they are wild animals and not to feed them. I remember back when I was in the 3rd grade on the old Toybox OS computers at school we had a remade version of the Commodore 64’s Boulder Dash titled Rockford(Rockford is the name of the main character). This game was dear to everyone at my school and it really hit home once the school updated to Windows 95. Even the internet couldn’t supplement the coolness of Rockford.

This is a strange structure standing deep in Russian forests on the Horse Island in the middle of small lake. It’s a small Christian church on top of a very large boulder. This boulder has a history too. Long before the Christianity came to Russia, this rock was used by local tribes as an idol, thousand years ago in 1000 b.c. It was called “Horse-Stone” and the island as we mentioned was called Horse Island. They sacrificed horses to it and when first Christians came they were shocked by bloody rituals of locals, but after they cleared up the place they decided to use the stone. I was standing in a lengthy line for the ladies’ room. I had to pee so bad I was crossing my legs and standing on my tip-toes, cursing the extra cup of coffee I’d had. The door to the men’s room opened, and a man walked out. I looked at the pregnant woman behind me.
“I’ll watch the door for you if you want to use the other restroom,” I offered.
She dashed inside.
A pudgy teen ambled up to the men’s restroom. “Someone’s in there,” I volunteered.
He sighed heavily and leaned against the wall. His jeans drooped below his waist and puddled over his shoes. His hair was kinky-curly and obscured most of his face. The Circle Jerks design on his t shirt was so faded I could barely make it out.
The bathroom door opened and the pregnant woman came out. “Thanks,” she said.
“Apparently your big belly interferes with your ability to read,” the teenager sneered, as he rudely pushed passed her.
