Thursday morning in southwestern Baghdad, a car bomb blast in a bus station wounding 35 and killing at least 20 people.
Almost 40 cars were damaged 40 cars and damaged a half-dozen shops in the predominately Shiite Bayaa neighborhood on 8:15 a.m. attack.

A prison warden should be jailed for giving a convicted Bali bomber a laptop that allowed him to contact fellow Muslim militants from his cell on death row, an Indonesian court heard on Monday.Benny Irawan, alias Abu Hanafi, on trial for supplying Imam Samudra with the computer, should be jailed for 11 years, a prosecutor told the court."From the testimony of the witnesses and the evidence, it is clear that the defendant handed a laptop to Imam Samudra through the air ventilation hole at the jail," prosecutor Didik Joko told judges hearing the case."The defendant also gave cables and an adaptor so that the terrorist could communicate through the cyberworld," Joko was quoted by Detikcom online news portal saying.

1. It's terrible that people feel the need to do such things.
2. In 2007, Islam inspires many of its adherents, whether they interpret Islam correctly or not, to commit such acts.
3. It's up to other Muslims, if they care at all for the goodwill of other Americans, to help their countrymen fight this this brand of Islam.
5. It's up to non-Muslim Americans to, yes, calm down and not over-react to these dangerous amateurs. Over-reaction would include anything that thinks the other millions of Muslims in the United States support the Ft. Dix terrorists' sentiments (point #3 would help in this regard).

Description: BAGHDAD - A dump truck overturned attempting to deliver its payload of explosives and nitric acid during a foiled attack in Mushada, Iraq April 16.
A coalition patrol approached to assist the driver of an overturned dump truck and found the vehicle loaded with nitric acid containers and explosives.
The driver was taken into custody and confessed that he was paid to attack the Joint Security Station in Mushada, which also houses the town's Iraqi police station.
An explosive ordnance team was called in to assess the contents of the truck and dispose of the material. The team discovered eight containers of nitric acid, eight directional fragmentation explosives devices, and two large rounds of ordnance.
The explosives and munitions discovered will be disposed of by EOD once they are carefully removed from the site.

Insurgents in Iraq detonated an explosives-rigged vehicle with two children in the back seat after US soldiers let it through a Baghdad checkpoint over the weekend, a senior US military official said Tuesday.
The vehicle was stopped at the checkpoint but was allowed through when soldiers saw the children in the back, said Major General Michael Barbero of the Pentagon's Joint Staff.
"Children in the back seat lowered suspicion. We let it move through. They parked the vehicle, and the adults ran out and detonated it with the children in the back," Barbero said.
The general said it was the first time he had seen a report of insurgents using children in suicide bombings. But he said Al-Qaeda in Iraq is changing tactics in response to the tighter controls around the city.
A US defense official said the incident occurred on Sunday in Baghdad's Adhamiyah district, a mixed neighborhood adjacent to Sadr City, which is predominantly Shiite.

The FBI order a review of some aspects of the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, reopening the question of whether Timothy McVeigh may have had more accomplices, government officials said. The FBI reopened the case to determine why some documents did not properly reach the bureau's Oklahoma City task force during the original investigation or get turned over to McVeigh's lawyers before he was executed in 2001.The review will also try to determine whether FBI agents in a separate investigation of white supremacist bank robbers may have failed to alert the Oklahoma City investigation of a possible link between the robbers and McVeigh, and allowed some of that evidence to be destroyed.
