IFBB Pro Bodybuilders Agree to Random Drug Testing at 2008 Arnold Classic
It has been reported that IFBB Pro Bodybuilders who competed in the 2008 IFBB Arnold Classic were required for the first time to sign a contract subjecting them to random drug testing.Jim Lorimer, the promoter and co-founder of the Arnold Sports Festival, told male bodybuilding competitors in an athlete’s meeting that the IFBB implemented a new drug testing policy in January 2008.In previous years, IFBB Pro Bodybuilders have agreed to IFBB Professional League Rules that assert the “Pro League has power and authority to conduct drug testing at designated events.”However, Jim Lorimer confirmed last week that the IFBB will act upon that authority this year by implementing random drug testing.Jim Lorimer told the athletes that every one of the over 30 sports federations competing in the

Warming Down for Bodybuilders By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Shareen_Aguilar]Shareen Aguilar Doing a an executable routine of warm-up is how should a bodybuilder start his bodybuilding training and exercises. There should always be adequate form of warm up exercises for each set of muscles. The main reason why bodybuilders should always do proper warm-ups before the main training is to prevent him from any type of injury. Joints and muscles that haven’t been properly lubricated and stretched are going to be the main root of injuries. Nobody wants to be injured especially if what he does is all with good intentions. Now you know why it is important to do warm-ups during each and every bodybuilding training, another important set of exercise shouldn’t also be neglected. If there is a way up, there is always a way down. The same thing is applied to bodybuilding training. Warming up prior to any strenuous activities is done to prevent the body from any type of inj

      Female Bodybuilders Video
Muscle Women On Stage - Watch more amazing videos here Female bodybuilding contests started in the 60’s. However these contests weren’t more than girls showing off in bikinis. They wore high heels and weren’t allowed to pose. The true beginnings of female bodybuilding are in the early ’80s. This also marked the beginning of a long chain controversies about the sport. When most people look at a female bodybuilder, if she is a real bodybuilder, they may not be all that pleased with what they see. Too much muscle may have an adverse affect on people’s reaction. The same effected judges of early body builder contests. The ladies would try to get bigger and bigger following the lead of their male counter parts. Judges on the other hand felt that they had some kind of an obligation to keep women feminine. First, they impose rules on contestants that were designed to prevent them from getting bigger than desired if they wanted a shot at the title. Of course,

Teen Bodybuilders Should Use a Full Body Workout
As a teen there are different approaches to bodybuilding in my view. I was glad to see that many shared my ideas. I am now training a friend that is pretty fat I must say and it was pretty hard for him to understand why I emphasized on a full body workout instead of what he read in bodybuilding magazines (you know, the regular one body part per workout routine). Well, the reason is simple, he is a young guy and wants to lose weight while getting fit. He basically wants to look good! That is what every teen bodybuilder out there wants but misses one important step: the beginning! Any good trainer will make you work out your entire body when you are teen and want to go into bodybuilding. A full body workout is what you are after! You will thus be able to hit all major muscle groups three times per week instead of just once. Working out with one muscle group per session is a sure step to overtraining if you are young. Don't take my word for it! Just try it out! If you are young and want

      Planet Fitness: No Bodybuilders Allowed
I had a membership to Planet Fitness for a year or so - only because it was extremely close to home and it was cheap at only $10.00 per month.During the time I trained there I lost weight, size, strength, and motivation - having to train among a bunch of sissies who were afraid of weights.Needless to say I will never again step foot in a Planet Fitness or recommend anyone to train there for any reason. Why? I simply can't in any good measure of conscience support a gym whose motto is "the judgement free zone" and yet practices discrimination. Can you say "hypocrisy"?Watch this news clip and I think you'll agree:http://video.msn.com/v/us/v.htm?g=8EB2181A-AB14-461A-992A-2B0F73B675D1&t=c150&f=06/64&p=Source_TodayShow&fg=&GT1=9033Just my opinion,The Insider
