The Young Republic - Blue Skies
If the Thrills had actually been born in America then this is probably what they would have sounded like. As you can imagine this means that the music the Young Republic make is uniformly pretty. All 8 of them recently moved to Nashville from Boston after several years studying music so as a nicely timed mark of respect you’ll find some country dimensions to tunes like ‘Blue Skies’. In this instance you may also notice a sneaky resemblance to the Shins ‘New Slang’, which adds rather than detracts from what is an all-round knockout piece of music. ‘Blue Skies’ is lavishly crafted, the lush instrumentation so adept it never detracts from the clean shaven vocals. The song is taken from the Young Republic’s debut album ‘12 Tales From Winter City’ which is out now on End of

Perrin Post: Blue skies in Beijing
Boy, has Beijing changed in the nine years since I was last here. Not only are the air and streets much cleaner — thanks to the city’s effort to shape up in time for the 2008 Olympics — but the city is also much more user-friendly for travelers. More: continued here

      Blue Skies
Blue skies, shining on me, nothing but blue skies, do I see. Here’s the thing I’ve discovered about photos. You’re never 100% happy with anything you do. I was extremely pleased with this photo when I shot it a couple months back. The back of this house looks beautiful. But….  Major fisheye distortion corrected. (The sides of the house are curving away from the middle) Converging verticals corrected. (The top of the house is smaller than its base) Sharpened. Changed the sky from blown out white to blue.  Hopefully you don’t notice anything I changed if you only get to look at the second photo though. Edit: I’m still not sure if the saturation is overdone Bookmark this article:

      Blue Skies Turn Green
Most of us have been on at least one flight in our lives, boarding a massive jumbo jet that burns thousands of gallons of fuel to soar through the sky. What you might not know, is how quickly those jets, the companies who build them, and the companies who fly them, are changing industry standards to become more and more sustainable. Remarkable developments from Boeing began with the design of the 787 Dreamliner, a jet whose creation was based on the principles of efficiency, sustainability, and for sheer economics. The Dreamliner makes use of new technologies in carbon composites, meaning, its body is comprised of almost 50% carbon fiber (the same materials they use to make the Corvette). Why the change in material? It results in using 20% less fuel per mile than a similar plane! Airbus is also looking towards efficiency but thinking in different areas. Their newest plane, the Super Jumbo A380 (and yes, it’s big enough to deserve the name “super jumbo”) carries up to

      Blue skies
There is actually blue sky and sunshine out the window. A fair number of clouds 'tis true, but definitely blue sky. Now if it could not rain until Sunday, I might not get covered in mud and drenched on Saturday night. Staying dry is always preferred.

Your Monday Photo Shoot: Blue Skies
Your Monday Shoot: Picture some blue, blue skies. Wide stretches of blue are the goal here. Fluffy clouds are great, too -- but try to get the skies mostly blue. Interesting stuff in the foreground is groovy, too. Here's Mine: Yeah those are buzzards and no there isn't anything dead lying around. They just like to congregate there by the dozens. These are just a few of them in this particular

      Diana Degarmo - Blue Skies
Diana DeGarmo's definitely is a powerful vocalist. If i did not get it wrong, she recorded this album at the age of 17. Years to come she will for sure be a really really impressive singer! This album did showcase the young energy carrying in her and contains some ballad to smoothen more this entire album. She handle both slow and fast songs just as well. The most outstanding tracks in this album to me would be Cardboard Castles, Emotional, Dreams, Boy Like You and Don't Cry Out Loud (A Better version in my own opinion) . With her great personality and voice, she'll fly high! Her potential is going to be FULLY shown in her second album. I'm looking forward to that! Hopefully there would be more ballad songs in her second effort! - JustinSongs on Album:1. Cardboard Castles2. Blue Skies3. Emotional4. Then I Woke Up5. All I Ever Wanted6. Go On And Cry7. The Difference In Me8. Till You Want Me9. Dreams10. Boy Like You11. Dream, Dream, Dream12. Don't Cry Out Loud
