Curioso Screensaver. Blue screen of death [BSOD]
-- Gonzalo Novoa. [Descarga] BlueScreen Screen Saver v3.2

Blue Screen Of Death screensaver from Microsoft
photo by blue98xp What is BSoD BSoD - Blue Screen Of Death is a error screen, totally blue colored. This screen pop-ups on an NT system whenever something has gone terribly wrong. That's why people say One of the most feared colors in the NT world is blue. Bluescreen is a screen saver by Microsoft that not only authentically mimics a BSOD, but will simulate startup screens seen during a system boot. Virtually all the information shown on Bluescreen's BSOD and system start screen is obtained from your system configuration - its accuracy will fool even advanced NT developers. This Bluescreen runs on Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 and Windows 9x (it requires DirectX). So, use Bluescreen to amaze your friends and scare your enemies! XP Blue Screen of Death
Stop errors in Windows XP—part of the so-called Windows blue screen of death phenomenon that halts your Windows session—are some of the most frustrating errors you may experience, especially if you receive them frequently and the content of the stop error message changes from crisis to crisis. These aren’t entirely new to Windows XP; you just know them by different names, such as invalid page faults, from earlier versions of Windows. Like other types of error messages, it’s important to get the exact text of the error on this screen. This can matter in determining what is causing the problem; even if the message doesn’t make sense to you, a technical support representative may be able to look it up, or you can check it against the database at the Microsoft Knowledge Base. Windows XP stop errors are typically caused by issues with either hardware or software. These can include:Outdated or corrupted hardware or software driversAn incompatible device that Windows cannot work wit

How to debug a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD)- Part 2
In Part 1 we've seen what can cause a BSOD and what information we can collect after it happens, so we could investigate the problem. Well, Microsoft gives us the Debugging Tools for Windows toolkit.Go to the link, and download the latest version that is appropriate to your system (i.e. x86/64bit). This toolkit allows us to diagnose the memory dump files that Windows saved during the BSOD and hopefully pinpoint the root cause of the problem. While debugging the dump files, the tools compare the drivers' and operating files' information from the memory collected in the dump file, to a database of "symbols" from Microsoft. the Symbols database will most likely be used from the internet using Microsoft Symbols server, but can also be downloaded and used offline (it's a huge file- only download if you must...). Let The Debugging Begin! At first we run the WinDbg utility from the Debugging Tools for Windows we just installed. In the File menu - "Open Crash Dump" - Choose you Minidump or Me

How to debug a (BSOD) Blue Screen of Death - Part 1
We've all seen it before... Suddenley the screen turns blue and an error appears saying something like "it appears you won't be going to sleep early tonight..."Luckily there are easy ways to make some sense of that technical jargon MS gives us in a case of a BSOD.First lets TRY and understand what can cause your problem:Bad Hardware (RAM, Disk, PCI devices, USB Devices, Temperature etc..).Bad Software (Drivers, Anti-viruses etc...).Bad Windows (Registry corruption, missing files etc...).The basic BSOD message includes:The standard Stop error message "Windows has encountered a problem... bla bla bla..."Error Description: IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUALError Code: "0x0000008E" and some more memory addresses in ( )Optional file/driver name that might caused the problem. What we are going to do is collect as much information we can so we can investigate the BSOD and find the root cause. The information we can collect depends if we saw the BSOD ourselves or just heard about it from the end-user, if

      The "Blue Screen Of Death".
Users of windows system are sure to have experienced, at one point or another, the terrors of “The Fatal Exception”, commonly called the "Blue Screen Of Death", or BSOD. Although the BSOD has largely been thrown onto the software slag heap, in Vista, crashes haven't been totally banished. When windows encounters a condition that compromises safe system operation (i.e.,a “bug”), the system halts. this condition is called a bug check. its also commonly referred to as a system crash, a kernel error, a system fault, or a Stop error. In general, there are not too many options for any type of recovery. normally, one tries to just "reboot" the pc in the hope that the BSOD occurred because of a rare condition of some driver which was overlooked in coding and testing. But if the BSOD pers

Blue Screen of Death = Laptop Dead!
Well I’m in great mourning this evening after the premature death of my beloved…Laptop! Approx 18:05 GMT, I was announced of it’s demise with the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) I got simular to what is displayed above, as soon as I plugged my iPod in to the 4-port hub. So I powered off, removed battery, and then broke down myself (not really…) I suppose I’ll have to get a new laptop, along with new camera, oh and a new PC. I’ve only had each of them for less than a year - but I suppose that’s ancient in the PC thug world… Any recommendations? I was going to remain loyal to the DELL name, but screw Microsoft! And go for a Linux install and then sell the Vista license… - I HATE Vista…with a passion - so why not make some money from it Well I’m gonna give my laptop into a the Computer Doc to see if there’s any hope, or if it’s terminal - I would have a go myself…but I’m not arsed!

Latest Norton Antivirus Update Causing The Blue Screen of Death
I’m hoping our readers who use Norton Antivirus on a Windows XP machine haven’t updated their software in the last few days. On May 17, the Norton database was upgraded and by noon millions of users’ PCs were crashing. Norton’s latest update accidentally tagged two essential system files as viruses and cleared them away. Users were met with a blue screen subsequently followed by an error message regardless of rebooting the PC. Symantec has acknowledged that the upgrade was mishandled and that they’re working on a solution to better monitor such upgrades. In other words, they messed up real bad and someone is going to get fired for this mishap.

Get your blue screen of death shirt, mug, etc.
Many of us all of us are familiar with the blue screen of death. Few would consider the blue screen of death humorous. One may make an exception however, when the blue screen of death is on something other than his monitor. Personalization Mall is selling shirts, sweatshirts, mugs, etc. which have the blue screen of death and some witty comments printed on them. While the urge to destroy anything with the blue screen of death on it is strong, remember if you see someone wearing a bsod shirt, it is not your pc, you can get in trouble if you hit it.

Some guys just draw bugs to them, and poor William Gates III is afflicted by this terrible disease. Each time he's presenting a new product to a massive audience the screen turns blue. The worst IT blackout in Bouygues Telecom's history happened the very day this guy visited France, where the Microsoft teams use that very network. Now we can say he succeeded in taking power in the mobile world. Congrats Billy boy.
