Two parties in one week? Wooo - hooo! The ladies at 5 Minutes for Mom are throwing "The Ultimate Blog Party" and like I wrote earlier I'm not one to miss a good party or miss throwing one. Guess what? Today, Monday the 30th, I took a Mental Health Day Off to de-stress. I was supposed to do this last week Wednesday but work was busy and I didn't think it was a good thing to do then. But today I know I really have to or else I won't be a "nice person" to be around.Although I am typing up this post today (Monday night), I won't upload it until Tuesday because today I decided to participate in One Day Blog Silence. For whatever reason my humble blog has been blessed with some bloggity goodness lately. Don’t ask me how or why, I couldn’t tell you.
A few weeks ago Caitlin from Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia emailed and asked me for some info so I could be included on their “press list.” My first question for her, what do you mean by press list? Are you going to sell my info to some random third party who is then going to hound me relentlessly? Nope, she said MSLO just wanted to start including bloggers on their list so they could occasionally send us free samples and other news releases. After checking out her legitimacy, I happily obliged. Of course I haven’t received anything from this conglomerate yet.
Thinking this was some fluke occurrence, I was shocked when a few days later Samantha Henig, a reporter for Newsweek, emailed me about (more…)

Hello Toy Bender fans and those of you randomly popping in from search engines. Toy Bender has been around for a few months and is blowing up, so as a responsible Blig Bloggidy Blogger I thought I’d keep you all up to date on all matters Toy Bender thus far.
Now let me get this out of the way first:
I love my cat. My cat is great. Don’t you just love my cat!?
Sorry about that. Since every blogger on Earth has a cat and feels like telling you all about how great it is even though nobody cares about the damn thing except the owner, I thought I had to make a cat post. While I don’t have a cat, I figured a random googled cat would be a nice stand in.

Those of you who have been with me since the conception of this blog would notice some of the Bloggity bling blings that I have been adding lately. I thought I should do an updated post on my "blogging philosophy" or "blogging mission" or "blogging whatever (not a philosphy, not a mission, but I can't think of the right word)"It's 11:07 pm so this post might not be coherent. I do want to post this tonight because tomorrow I plan to spend the whole day away from the computer.Since I started blogging in October 2006, I have already created 185 posts. I now have an average of 80 visitors a day (not counting my check in) and I am number 108 (out of 395+) in the ranking on Blogtopsite for Parenting Blogs (the ranking goes up and down). Not bad....My Technorati connection is still broken, but I am being found through some of the kind bloggers who linked to me and placed me in their sidebar links.
