It will follow the metro line 14 since a new station has been opened recently.Mediators will be placed in different points within the city. The people are students from Parisian schools and universities and are here to help you going around during that special night. They ill invite you to sign the petition to free Ingrid Betancourt.A special night transport network is set up during the Nuit Blanche, basically you are supposed to go home whenever you want, don't bother with metro schedule. Of course, line 14 will be open all night, since it's an automated line (a metro every 5 minutes).Think of Cool Velib' as well to go around in the city. Five years after the city of Paris decided to launch "Nuit Blanche" (All-nighter in english), it became global (ok, almost global) with cities like Rio, Tokyo, Toronto or Montreal. But in Europe the phenomenon is more intense: different capitals decided to have a common theme, Roma, Brussells, Budapest, Madrid...It's free and open to everyone!The city gets all different, it's like being on a Saturday afternoon on Rue de Rivoli (meaning, sooooo crowded), except that it's dark and sometimes a little colder. This weekend on Mont-Royal st. is an artistic festival called "Sleepless night on black board" (the name has no sense translated). The famous street becomes pedestrian from De Lorimier to St-Hubert, which means you can walk on it for almost an hour, browsing from itinerant merchant to another. It is faboulos to see so many people walking in the middle of the street, which is colored by paintings all the way (it is sad we gotta walk on it).

Domaine Jean Reverdy has 30 acres of vineyards, 9 acres of them being Sauvigonon Blanc. The 2005 Sancerre Le Reine Blanche is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc from a single vineyard, the vines being 25 years or older. It has not seen oak and has not gone through malolactic fermantation.Pale straw in the glass. Citrus, green apple, floral note and a hint of grass on the nose. Citrus, apple and minerals play beautifully with the fresh acidity on the palate. This is a great little bottle of Sancerre. Not to much green vegetables and grass like you can find in some of them. Just a light, slightly fruity wine with great freshness from the lively, not at all tart, acidity.I bought this at my local grocery store for $18.99. A fair price. This is the only video taken last weekend on our Brussels trip. I was standing in the middle of the Grote Markt in Brussels. The woman was on a platform illuminated by intense white lights. The building I pan to is the Brussels City Hall and as you can see it is illuminated by blue lights. Saturday, September 30th was Nuit Blanche or White Night in Brussels. There were many cultural events around the city that night.I just love this music. It is Arabic obviously and she has a beautiful voice. If anyone reading this blog knows Arabic and knows what she is singing about please leave a comment and enlighten us all.
