Shopping thru a brick and mortar mart is a tedious task for any homemaker who has plentiful and time-consuming chores at home.On top of that, since fossil fuel or gas prices are skyrocketing at the speed of light most of the times then we find it agonizing to drive to the store to do your shopping spree. As the adverse results, buying the stuffs in the real world outlet stops us because of those co
My sick leave vacation is over next week and my busy life will start again. I will have no more time to go to the mall or shopping center to look for a better price of all the things I needed to buy. Good thing that I found this website where I can visit all my favorite stores online, like Walmart, Bestbuy, Sears and many more.Shopping Malls are too busy during holiday sales, so it can be very inc
The Shopping is fun, and when we have the opportunity to save some money in shopping is then even more fun. Several retailers, as well as provide all heavy sellers, discounts on many occasions and, sometimes, never come to the attention of such offers and huge sales, these offers simply slide out.The world would be familiar with blackfriday, when all major stores offer a wide sell. All could have
The balikbayan box has been a Pinoy tradition for as long as I can remember. It usually contains food and clothes from Filipinos living in the United States and sent home to waiting relatives in the Philippines eager to partake in this regular gift giving. However, with the current economic crisis in the US, this tradition is likely to vanish, or at least hibernate until the economic crisis is

Black Friday is a day after Thanksgiving when people shop for Christmas presents. While it has been a couple of months since Black Friday I think it is worth mentioning a site which offers very useful thanksgiving ads, which helped many people save a lot of money. Basically the site allowed people to purchase Black Friday items completely online without the need of waiting in a line at the store at 5am in the morning. But this site not only saves people a lot of time, but also money because it featured very good Black Friday ads on their site. The site also offers email alerts so that you will know when new ads have been posted. As I said the site offers nice attractive deals, but one of my favorite deals were from Circuit City. I don’t think I have to explain what Circuit City is, let
Shopping for discounted products and bargains is always been helpful especially for a big family or low earners. Craze every after Thanksgiving or Christmas was only known to me this year as I am new in this country. Back home the time for heavy shopping is on the Christmas Eve because most of the shops and merchants sell goods at lowest rate possible for up to 70% off of the original price. Since it is cold here, during the after Christmas sale I was only at home with my daughter. I knew that people were out as early as 5am to queue. Really unbelievable! I would have loved to be on that day but my situation doesn’t permit. Good enough, I learned from Black Friday’s website that there are products from merchants offering cyber monday. That means during that time, I can get products I w
Last weekend I asked Susan out for dinner, she turned down my invitation. When I asked her why, she told me she is still trying to pay off her debts. Debts? Yes, she had overspend during last Christmas, bought too many expensive Christmas gifts for herself and her family and friends.Wow, last Christmas? It's already 3 months and yet still paying debts? She asked me how come I did not overspend. I told her about Black Friday at www.blackfriday.info. Shopping through Black Friday really helps me save a lot of money. Black Friday allows me to purchase their item online without any hassle. There are no traffic jam, no rushing out to the store, avoiding crowds, no long queue when paying, saves time and the most important thing is it really helps me to save a lot of money!Besides all this, I als

Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving in the United States, where it is the beginning of the traditional Christmas shopping season. Since Thanksgiving falls on the fourth Thursday in November in the United States, Black Friday may be as early as the 23rd and as late as the 29th of November. Black Friday is not an official holiday, but many employers give the day off, increasing the number of potential shoppers.Because of that, I've seen people wait outside the stores the night before the sale. This site lets people purchase Black Friday items online without the hassle of having to stand in line at the store at 5am. The site also offers email alerts to let you know when new black friday ads have been posted. They also made the site consumer friendly for planning the holiday shopping. H

It’s black Friday again. this time, it’s Black Friday, because all this week, I’ve been hearing about numerous celebrities that I had aspirations of someday laying the pipe to, getting engaged. First it was Dania Ramirez. Then Lauren London. Today, I read that Jessica Love Hewitt is getting married too. What the hell is going [...]
I did the Black Friday thing from home this year and did nothing on Cyber Monday. I know, I need to plan much better next year so I can take advantage of the killer deals that were going on each of those days.I made out pretty well by shopping online at Office Depot. They had the same deals as their Black Friday flyer in the store and online. I was able to snatch up two microSD/MiniSD/SD cards that were 2GB each. We are going to be using them in our new EnV phones when we can actually buy those phones. My contract is up in January and then I can start a new one. I am looking forward to unlimited texts, pix, and flix all over the place. And with the new EnV I am going to make use of all the great features. One of the features is bluetooth. I also picked up two bluetooth headsets. This was in part due to the fact that my current phone. The evil little bastard, isn't working correctly with a wired headset and I can't use the speakers on the phone itself. It is weird, I've done the hard
I don't usually go shopping on Black Friday. It just seems like way too much of a hassle to me. So seeing as how I haven't been participating in the event for a while, I've apparently lost sight of the incredible savings one can achieve through a 12-hour wait in line. I recently read in the paper that some people were able to get their hands on whole computer systems for just $200. That includes tower, monitor, keyboard, mouse, and maybe even printer.
To me, that is unbelievable. Way better than the best deals I've ever seen. Of course, I'm assuming the stuff is relatively new. It goes without saying that similar deals can be found with obsolete models.
As soon as I read about that one deal, it all began to make sense. Waiting in line to shop is like waiting in line for concert tickets, or waiting to sign up for that really great course taught by that really attractive professor. It isn't just mob shopping. There are deals to be had!
So now I
Today I looked at the front page of a local newspaper. "Black Friday Goes Green," in big black letters dominates the upper half. Ooh, environment! How chic. Reading through all the related articles, I can see there is no mention of how anything about Black Friday relates to Going Green.I am disappointed, perturbed, upset. Then I have an idea. Could "Going Green" be similar in meaning to "Getting the green light?"In that case, "Goes Green" would really mean "Begins." "Black Friday Begins."Or maybe "Black Friday Goes Green" means that stores did so well, they're not only in the black, they're in the green!Either way, it's stupid. The old bait and switch. For shame! This site used the phrase, "Black Friday Goes Green," and made sense of it, saying this year's Black Friday would be, "an opportunity for sellers to showcase their greenest products and services." Nicely done! At least someone's honest.
The video (H/T: Fox News Chicago) tells the story in richer detail than the crime deserves; it was a pitifully unremarkable occurrence in the grand scheme of life in the inner city. Last Friday, three men held up the Get M Girlz Apparel clothing store on Chicago's South Side. In the process one of the thieves pointed a gun at an unarmed security guard, 22 year-old Harold Dean Long, while the others grabbed as much clothing as their guilty hands could carry. The gunman shot Long (twice actually, once during a struggle upon entering the store and again upon the robbers' departure), who was pronounced dead at a local hospital. According to the Chicago Tribune, Long would have been 23 on December 5, with the Tribune noting that he planned to celebrate in grand fashion, "wearing Gucci and partying at a hip-hop club with friends and relatives."As I said, this transgression was surely not uncommon, as store owners on the 2500 block of West 63rd Street were accustomed to getting robbed on a f
Ah, Black Friday. The crazy, faux holiday devoted to a shopping day setup by the retailers and their parent corporations to bring people into the stores and spend money for stuff they may or may not need.Yes, and the media feeds it.There is nothing in the world that would make me ever wait out in the cold to save a few bucks, much less run into some psychos out there.Ah, the joy of waiting outside after Thanksgiving just to shop - oh joy.I, in my right mind would never participate in it, but my sister did and she said people were crazy.I mean, normally rational, polite in public and sensible people go all buckwild for stuff and in some instances put their safety at risk. The thing that is tad disturbing is that the retailers lure people with "doorbusters", ridiculously priced items to get people in the door. Of course, they have "limited quantities" of the cheap stuff, so unless you had been in line since Wednesday, you're not getting anything unless you are just beyond aggressive.Than
Yesterday, the Friday after Thanksgiving, I found myself at the Mall in Columbia, MD. I knew it was "Black Friday" , but I had no choice. Chai, my wife's “lovely” dog, enlisted my glasses as a chew toy, and I was blind.
The mall was a madhouse, and maybe not just figuratively:
A 2006 Stanford University study has concluded that compulsive overspending or overshopping is a legitimate disorder that affects approximately 6% (17,000,000) of the U.S. population and that men and women suffer about equally.
It is unnerving that Americans cannot seem to do anything that does not involve buying something. We have developed a culture which tells us that everything there is of value comes to us from outside ourselves. We have accepted and embraced a consumerism that sells itself as normal, and the hard-earned byproduct of democracy and freedom. Recently, the government scolded that we are somehow less patriotic if we are not spending everything we can. The “Holiday Seaso

Grace is crazy! Yesterday morning she woke up at 3:30 a.m. to join her friends for a Christmas shopping spree. They got an early start to take advantage of all the Black Friday sales. She didn't get home until 2 p.m. That's a lot of shopping. But she got a lot of stuff for all the kids, so I won't have to deal with too much of it. I really dislike Christmas shopping. After she got home we headed out to Old Navy to get Zane some more winter clothes (it's suddenly freezing cold) because he's grown out of most of his pants and he needs sweaters. We found a lot of great deals, including jeans that were half price. Only problem was the super long line. Zane was not patient enough for it, so he started climbing on the displays. I kept trying to stop him and he would do it over and over again. Finally, he fell. Hard. Everyone in line cringed and kind of made me feel like a bad parent with their snide comments. But, let's face it, it's how he learns. He wasn't injured at all, so they ca
I have a riddle for you. Where do you find a bunch of crazy people crowded together before daylight without their straight jackets on? Answer: Black Friday, otherwise known as the Day after Thanksgiving Day sales. And I say that with love, people, because I’ve been a loyal attendee for years. When I lived in Utah my ex and I were great Black Friday strategists; we would pour over the ads and make lists of where to go and at what time. We would wake up at 4 and wouldn’t get home until after 10 (for you sane people, that’s in the a.m.). And while I haven’t had much experience shopping in Idaho Falls, Black Friday in Utah was more than a day, it was an Olympic event.I made my sister, a Black Friday virgin, come with me one year. She was amazed to see retailers passing out refreshments to 5am shoppers on their way into stores. But on Black Friday those shoppers are more like marathoners taking the paper cups of orange juice and hot chocolate to pour over their heads as they st
Pets have long been a holiday tradition. Not many people can resist a puppy or kitten placed in their arms, especially amid all the holiday frenzy and excitement. However, some animal shelters will not allow pets to be adopted only to be given as gifts. Instead, they encourage people to give gift certificates. For example…
Some Northwest Arkansas animal shelters have policies against adopting pets as gifts and instead offer gift certificates so the recipient can pick his or her own pet. The Fayetteville and Springdale animal shelters sell gift certificates, but the Bella Vista and Rogers shelters do not.
Anthony Rankin, senior animal control officer for the Fayetteville Animal Shelter, said the shelter allows people to adopt pets as gifts for people in their own household, not for people who live in a separate home.
The shelter stopped allowing people to adopt animals as gifts because the animals would end up back at the shelter, Rankin said. “We want the animals to go hom
One of the best parts of Thanksgiving is of course the ads that stores put out to entice shoppers to spend. However, I have a firm policy that I like to sleep in on my days off. I see no reason to stand in line in the freezing cold to get a good deal. However, my plans changed once my brother called me at 6:30am asking for my help. You see, he was standing in line at Staples so we could get a new printer. He was worried about not getting his jump drive because of the crowds. So since he was willing to half with me on the printer and stand in line with those crazy people, I figured the least I could do was stand in line at Officemax for him. Well, I figured that there would not be a long line since people could get the same deal online. I was dead wrong because the line was at least a block long with more showing up by the minute. But the people that I met in line were very nice and it helped to pass the time. As soon as it close to 7am, people were starting to get nervous. They started

I hope everyone had a wonderful and joyful Thanksgiving! I also hope those of you that braved Black Friday found some great deals and stayed within your budgets! I also hope those of you that did venture out early this morning get plenty of rest this weekend!
A yearly tradition with my wife and I is to head out early on black Friday. We enjoy the time together and the adventure. Unfortunately we didn’t have a traditional Thanksgiving or Black Friday this year. My wife has been fighting a kidney stone for about 3 weeks and on Wednesday she had surgery to have it removed. Needless to say she has been is a great deal of discomfort and not feeling too great. So we stayed at home both days. She does seem to feeling a bit better this evening though.
On one hand, we missed doing our traditional Thanksgiving and Black Friday shopping, but on the other hand it was really nice to just stay at home and not get caught up in all of the chaos.

Black Friday is usually for shopping. I know, we aren’t really the shopping type, but when it comes to electronics and interesting tech stuff, it could be a great chance to get that huge LCD screen TV you always wanted to watch your favorite sports games. And, of course, if you are a Dallas Cowboys fan, you will probably run to the stores to get that TV to watch last night’s NFL game over, and over again.
The Cowboys literally swept their field with the Jets. Figures like Tony Romo and the always controversial Terrell Owens led the team to a smashing victory of 34-3, getting the team an amazing record start of 10-1 for the entire Cowboys history. The only loss suffered by Dallas this NFL Season was against the almighty Patriots.
Just as Wade Phillips (Dallas Cowboys head coach) said, “it was a solid, solid game”. And this was a way to prove they have what it takes to be leaders this year. However, it’s not time yet to celebrate the victory: their next challenge will be
Well I woke up this morning and saw 3 cars in my parking lot. I was like where did everyone go. I thought to myself “they are either at work or shopping.” Shopping on Black Friday why go through the hassle of waiting in line forever and to get trampled or pushed or knocked out etc. Black Friday is a day of deals and sales, so moms and dads go out camp outside and wait till a door opens. They then charge in side run to their aisle, like they have it all mapped out in their heads, and just stare a price. “Is this a deal?”
I wonder why we have the internet, Oh Yea so we don’t have to act like cavemen when going shopping. Make the ease of shopping simple by going online. Amazon has a great way on creating a new buzz and having buyers come back every hour, consistent traffic. Well enough talk I found some videos on YouTube about the Friday that is Black!

It’s no secret that I despise the culture of materialism, overconsumption, and wastefulness. So once again I shake my head at grown adults electing to spend their morning on the frigid side of an automatic door eagerly waiting as if Jesus himself might step out of Best Buy come 6am.
I took this photo last year when I did pop into Cherry Creek Mall on Black Friday. It just baffles me how much cheap plastic shit exists, and how people just lap it up. Rarely do I see quality merchandise available at a mall. It might be Norman Rockwellian to think of a grandfather hand carving a puzzle or game for his grandson 40 years ago, but I have that mental image when I see the amount of complete crap that’s available for purchase. Are you actually going to USE this “Shape Up” thing or whatever is pictured here? Why buy something for someone if you KNOW it will get five months of use, spend four years in the garage, and then be sold at a yard sale. Buy quality stuff, and you’ll buy
News from all over the US report that retailers have opened their shops, offering online deals on Thanksgiving to give the Holidays shoppers a good start. The retailers have lured the shoppers to a great extent ahead of the traditional Black Friday kick-off.
CompUSA Inc. opened its doors on Thanksgiving and added an extra incentive for the consumers this year by providing pumpkin pie for those in line.
Iconic toy store FAO Schwarz who has its locations in New York, Chicago and Las Vegas opened the stores on the holiday as well. They kept the stores open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Looking back in the past, the holiday shopping on the Thanksgiving Day was limited to a few discount stores like Kmart and Wal-Mart, or some of the grocery retailers and 24-hour convenience stores like 7-Eleven Inc. Kmart, operated by Sears Holdings Corp. now they are moving one step ahead by making special offers on the Thanksgiving day and airing it on TVs to GPS systems. One of the attractive offers made by Km

Ahhh. Black Friday. Such a powerful kickoff to the holiday buying season.
And one of the hardest times to be a frugal shopper. It isn't because of the holiday deals directly. If there is something that you have been wanting and saving for, that fits in your budget, and it happens to be on sale now may be the best time to buy it.
Stores are not looking for that kind of shopper however. What they love to see is the person that comes in with the circular ad, running too late to get the doorbusters but still looking to load up for the holidays. This is the person that buys the deals because they are deals. Not because they have somebody specific in mind to gift the item to. Not because they have a need for that product. They are buying it just because of the savings and a vague idea of what they may do with it.
From me to you today, I hope that you found some great deals at the stores this morning and find more throughout the holidays. More importantly though, I hope tha
Black Friday marks the beginning of the traditional Christmas shopping season. Many stores on this day open up very early and offer some fantastic sales and discounts. A lot of our favorite plus size clothing stores are in fact, offering some great savings today and over this weekend. However, after yesterday's Thanksgiving indulgence, I am sure the last thing you want to do is fight your way through massive crowds in shopping malls! So it's a good thing you can sit back in your comfy PJ's and still take advantage of the Black Friday sales, whilst browsing online. This is why I love online shopping so much, it does help make life that tiny bit more comfortable. So here is a round up of all the Black Friday deals going on today and this weekend in some of the best plus size clothing stores:> Torrid.com50% off all clearance items sale is running until Sunday, 25th November. I turn the news on this morning after rolling my brand new +40lbs ass off the bed this morning and I see this crowd of about two million people squeezing their way into a big electronics store. Black Friday~! The day that turns human beings into bloodthirsty beasts of prey willing to trample over women and children just to get their hands on that new half off toaster. That number isn’t an exaggerating either. There literally appears to be 2 million people attempting to squeeze into this building. I think the entire state is sitting outside of the store. Are there no other Black Friday sales going on wherever this is or something?
You couldn’t pay me to leave my house today. No way I’m fighting through a ton of sweaty people for my shopping needs. Holiday shopping gets crossed off my to do list in the summer. I’ll never understand why people wait until the last minute. Personally, I think people thrive for chaos. It’s like they have some kind of

Tim and I are opposites. With the exceptions of we are both passionate, stubborn, and opinionated. Besides those minor details, opposites.Yesterday we were going back and forth about should we or shouldn't we venture out on "black Friday?" You all know how I feel about it. I like to shop when the stores are empty... when I can stroll quietly up and down every isle and look at things. I also love shopping online. When I can do my grocery shopping online, I will be a happy girl!!Tim, on the other hand, loves a crowd. He loves people. When he has a day off, he wants to know what were going to do. Ummm. sit around and eat chocolate? What? You don't like that idea? This morning the kids woke up at 7am and Tim jumped out of bed. I didn't think anything of it. Until Tim didn't come back.... and the house got quiet. I may have drifted in and out of sleep for awhile... but the quietness woke me up completely. I got up to find an empty house.Tim, alone out there...somewhere...
We’re moving in 10 days so I’m not really into buying anything more, but MY there are some good deals out there today!! The best I’ve seen so far is at Buy.com - they’ll pay you $15.01 to take a Sirius Stratus Satellite Radio Receiver and Car Kit away (after a $50 mail-in rebate). You of course need a Sirius subscription so they make up for it there, but you could get a few bucks for it at your next garage sale and still be $25-30 ahead! They also have RCA HPNC250 Noise Canceling Headphones for $14.99, though, and there’s no “catch” with that deal. Maybe I am in a buying mood after all (Edit: I just ordered 2 pairs of those headphones - they get good reviews and for that price they’ll be great on the 15-hour flight to New Zealand in February)
I just got an email from e-commerce solution company Volusion.com - the biggest online shopping day in history was Wednesday, December 13th, when consumers spent a whopping $667 million. This y
It’s the day after Thanksgiving, the notorious Black Friday. Are you hitting the mall or sleeping in?
I’m avoiding the crowds and the stress by joining in Buy Nothing Day. I hate being in crowded stores, too much excitement just makes me feel like crawling into a hole in the ground. Luckily I’m done with gift shopping. This year I made 75% of my presents myself, and what I couldn’t make I bought online. No crowded buildings, no getting up early, and no getting out of my pajamas. Kind of like homeschooling.
But I wanted to pass on a Black Friday sale that was sent to me that some might love. Mom’s Wish List has a list of some great sales going on at tons of stores for Black Friday. But the best is the first thing on the list.

I’ve never been a “Black Friday” fan, I worked at least twelve years in some form of retail and saw more pushing, shoving and herding of hordes than anyone should have to. I remember the last Black Friday I was working. I knew I would be leaving retail after the first of the year. I was sooooooo excited. I was probably merrier then, than all the previous Day after Thanksgivings before.

The teaser sales are exciting, but the early hours? Eh, not for me. Before we had kids, Aaron and I would pick the sales that interested us the most, then go out together. Now, he goes out for the early morning sales race, and I stay home with the kids. I like this arrangement.Edited to add:We struck out this year too many bargain hunters not enough productTo play along for Haiku Friday, follow these steps:1. Write your own haiku on your blog. Shopping, Rides, and a Movie!I'm not too sure what a "Black Friday" is...I thought it was going to be dark all day long! Anyhoo, we all got up early, piled in the car, and went to the King of Prussia mall looking for something called "sales". There were Christmas decorations everywhere and lots of people. We saw Santa Claus there but the line was too long to pay him a visit this year. When we stopped looking for sales, we had some Chinese food for lunch. I just love that white steamed rice! Pop-Pop had his favorite, italian food, instead. After lunch, I got a chance to get on some rides. Then, we headed over to the movie theatre to see "This Christmas." Me and my Mommy sat together, my Pop-Pop made sure I had plenty of popcorn, and I took sips of my Grammy's soda whenever she wasn't looking. And, guess what? For the first time, I didn't fall asleep and I actually saw the whole movie. It was really nice and I liked it a lot. It was a fun day, the sun was out (but it was really cold),
I thought I’d be helpful and offer up some Black Friday links for those who plan to spend tomorrow shopping, and some Cyber Monday links for those of you whose shopping on Friday is going to be of the window nature, saving your shopping for Cyber Monday.

While all of you suckers are running from store to store at 4am looking for incredible deals on stuff you really don’t need I will be warm, comfortable and half naked sleeping in my giant bed. I will be dreaming while you are complaining about parking spots, rude cashiers and items high in demand and low in stock.
I will roll over a few times as dawn breaks the horizon. I will eventually wake up, make a hot cup of chocolate, fry up some eggs and relax reading the newspaper. Meanwhile you will be honking your horn and flipping the bird.
I will take a shower, get dressed in something comfortable and hop online to check my email, blog an entry about the wonderful things my son has done and wonder if my wife is surviving the wreck called post Turkey day shopping bliss.
All I have to say is thank god for Amazon.com!
Well, the biggest shopping day of the season is around the corner. There’s got to be some deals around for Apple products, though they seem to be few and far between in the past.
Apple’s store is having a black friday sale, which will be online as well as in Apple retail stores.
I will also be posting a list, this turkey-devouring day, of whatever black friday deals for Apple and iTunes related products I can find. Look forward to that sometime this afternoon. It will feature online and retail store sales, and I’ve seen some decent ones already.
Please have a safe and enjoyable thanksgiving, from iPhone World!

I don't know about you but I'm totally excited about shopping on Black Friday. Logically, I know that getting up at 3 a.m. to find great shopping deals is absolutely insane but Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving that starts the winter shopping season, is too much fun. Last year was my first time among the masses of other crazy shoppers. My day started out at 5 a.m. at Khols and included a total of 10 stores, 6 hours, and spending $500. It was the most fun I had in a while. If you plan to catch the early bird specials it's best to have a plan and a list so that you are focused on your mission - finding great Black Friday deals. I hope to see you out and about. I'll be sure to post some pictures of my Black Friday shopping experience. To find the best Black Friday deals check out Brad's Deals & Black Friday.

The biggest shopping day of the year is just days away. Personally, I wouldn’t dream of venturing into a store the day after Thanksgiving since I can’t handle the crowds and the pushiness, but cheers to those who can. It’s a great time to find good deals on sweaters, scarves and other holiday gift staples.
For instance, you can get cashmere sweaters for $29.99 at Old Navy and boatneck tees for $10.

Black Friday or more commonly known as the day after Thanksgiving is going to be interesting this year. It is called "Black" Friday because that is typically the day when all retail stores come out of the red and into the black on profits for the year. I say that it is going to interesting because I don't think it will be as black as they hope it to be. As an example if sales are expected to be
