I had walked into 50 Biscayne a few times prior to today but didn’t have my camcorder on me each time. I wanted to share with everyone what a great job The Related Group of Florida did with this development so I decided to go back to 50 Biscayne today with the objective of sharing some pictures and video of the common areas with my readers.

It seems that Key Biscayne hedge fund manager John Devaney, CEO of United Capital made a bad decision by investing in the mortage market right before it collapsed.
According to TheStreet.com, Devaney put
“…one of his most prized possessions-a 142–foot Trinity yacht dubbed Positive Carry— up for sale along with his $16.5 million second-home in Aspen, CO. The house, called Sardy House, is the site of the nations’ largest living Christmas tree.”
Well it seems Mr. Devaney is at it again. He has listed a large collection of ultra-luxury estates on the tony Isle of Key Biscayne. The combined list prices of the seven properties total $78.8M. The properties went on the market on Wednesday and have created pandemonium. These parcels are said to be some of the most prime pieces of Key Biscayne real estate.

Last week I was afforded the opportunity to walk through an almost finished townhouse unit at 900 Biscayne Bay. It was priced, from the developer, at around $945,000 (I don’t remember the exact figure but it is very close, if not exact). The pictures and the short video clip that I shot of the unit are found below.
First, let me provide a little background.
Last weekend an out-of-state couple contacted me to find them a luxury second-home condo. They wanted a great deal but didn’t want to skimp on quality or views. They wanted to buy into a luxury condo building that was either brand new or one that was relatively new or recently remodeled that offered luxury finishes, amenities and views.
In one short day, most of which was scheduled on a 1-2 hour notice, I was able to show them a unit at Jade, Emerald at Brickell, Imperial at Brickell and The Palace. I was also able to get them a guided tour of Ten Museum Park and Latitude on the River. We also visited the 900 Bisca
