It has been said that Billie was dining at The Ivy restaurant in London when her eyes became blurred when she stepped outside to have a cigarette.
She then tried to cover her face up when the photographer’s bulbs started flashing and was in obvious discomfort.
Billie has said to have panicked when she woke up the following morning and could not open her eyes; she was then taken to Moorfield’s Eye Hospital in Central London.
A friend of Billie said that “She’s being looked at but we don’t know the score. It could be that her eyesight has been damaged or that she has some form of infection or other condition.”
Experts have said that retinal damage can be caused by camera flashes but this is rare and could serve as a trigger for existing conditions.
We hope that Billie regains her eye sight soon.

Yes, I know... Billie Swamp Safari isn't in Miami--it's actually a bit of a drive. But it's important for city folk to venture out into the countryside (which in Florida are the Everglades' swamps) and reconnect with nature and an alligator or two. It's a great, unique way to spend the day: there are walking trails on a boardwalk over the water, airboat rides (the absolute funnest thing), swamp buggie rides (this would be great to get around Miami traffic!), shows, animal enclosures, and you can even spend a night in a Chickee for about $35 (I didn’t do that, but I plan to soon!). Actress Billie Piper and DJ Chris Evans had a quicker divorce granted to them yesterday, and the reason they gave for wanting this split was pressure from their jobs. Chris said “irreconcilable differences and pressures of demanding careers.” Was the reason for the collapse in his marriage to Billie.
The pair decided to call it a day on their marriage, and split in September 2004. The Courts allowed the divorce to go ahead, as they had been separated for two years. Billie has not asked for any of Chris’s fortune, which is estimated at £30 million.
