Bilal HusseinThe only problem with this bit of news is that the US military doesn't answer to the Iraqi judicial system. They can hold Bilal Hussein as long as they please. AP Photographer Granted Iraqi Amnesty By Robert H. Reid Associated Press BAGHDAD (AP) — An Iraqi judicial committee has dismissed terrorism-related allegations against Associated Press photographer Bilal Hussein and ordered him released nearly two years after he was detained by the U.S. military. Hussein, 36, remained in custody Wednesday at Camp Cropper, a U.S. detention facility near Baghdad's airport. A decision by a four-judge panel said Hussein's case falls under a new amnesty law. It ordered Iraqi courts to "cease legal proceedings" and ruled that Hussein should be "immediately" released unless other accusatio

“But when the Bush administration came to power and the ‘war on terror’ began, he quickly came to realize that the scale of fraud spawned in its wake was of a different order of magnitude. More and more would-be plaintiffs began to contact his firm after hearing about it on the informal whistle-blowers’ grapevine.” For a more encouraging morning coffee — a fascinating Vanity Fair piece on employees of US government contractors in Iraq who are outraged at the fraud they

But the track is also featured on the soundtrack to “Smoking Aces” Com’s debut movie which the brotha did do a hell of a job acting in. Also HERE IS a bonus video of Common performing ‘Play your cards right’ ft. Bilal and they had Jeremy Biven on the drums (I knew that cat had some soul in him…)

I wonder how many people will be clicking on this link after seeing it on Arsenal News Now and wondering "who??".
Well to those that don't know; Abdul-Salam Bilal is Nicolas Anelka's Islamic name.
It's once again been rumoured that Wenger wants Anelka and the board don't want to get him blah blah. How many rumours have there been floating around recently? The funniest was that Pallacio guy where the rumour was started by one blogger and repeated around the world by the press as it being a fact!
I do like Anelka and I think it would be awesome to have him back. He'd score plenty of goals for us but how much truth is to the story that the board have refused permission to buy him? Can you imagine a board that want to do anything to keep Wenger stopping him from doing something that he wants? As much as I would love for Anelka to come back; I have a feeling that this story is just another whole load of rubbish recirculating.

Shoddy Cheap NHS syringes fails to detonate bombs. The GMC has exceeded itself like a Kipling cake today. Dr Bilal Abdulla has been charged with conspiracy to use explosions but this apparently does not affect his Fitness to Practise AT all. The best bit about this is that there are no restrictions to his fitness to practise. So, we assume the GMC is happy with his conduct. What a lucky man he is to have such an esteemed body supporting him to the hilt. Well, I suppose they let him in, in the first place without a discreet inquiry. I see the GMC is following the case law set down to maintaining the reputation of the medical profession. Case Law Bolton v. The Law Society 1 W.L.R. 512; [1994] 2 All E.R. 486. "The second purpose [of the Tribunal's orders] is the most fundamental of all: to maintain the reputation of the solicitors' profession as one in which every member, of whatever standing, may be trusted to the ends of the earth. To maintain this reputation and sustain public confi
