It appears Fred Thompson is having huge trouble raising money, so much so that he is unable to run ads in Iowa in the runup to the Iowa Caucuses! The cabbie made famous for relinquishing the drivers' seat of his taxi to Michael Schumacher is now considering offers to sell the Opel mini-van. Since the nine-seater made international headlines for getting a seven time world champion and his family to a German airport on time, it has doubled in value, the newspaper Bild am Sonntag claims. "More than ten people are interested in buying it," the taxi driver, Tuncer Yilmaz, confirmed. "One has offered 63,000 euros, and I need the money - because of the Schumi-Ride I could be in big trouble with the police," he confirmed. Poor HINDRAF! A lot of things have happened to HINDRAF today. Amazing! First, three of their key figures that also happen to be great lawyers were detained under the horrifying Sedition Act and second, they were slapped with a massive Court Order! Perhaps the government has learnt a thing or two after BERSIH had successfully held their mass rally on the 10th of November and now they no longer have any mercy for anybody!   Better watch out, folks! American Nutrition is finally recalling their foods containing rice protein concentrate. The recall covers Costco’s Kirkland Signature Super Premium Canned Food, item # 38436, best buy dates of Aug. 21 08 to April 15 of 09. I identified this company last week on other forums because they were the only pet food company out of Utah and ChemNutra had said one of the five companies they sold RCP to was in Utah.  But oh, is American Nutrition in trouble.  I predict they will not be able to recover from this one.  ANYTHING made by them is going to be suspect. I am at a loss here, because Big Trouble in Little China that starred Kurt Russell has been named the worst film. This was from a poll in the US magazine Maxim. Ok so it wasn’t the best film in the world but it certainly is not the worse. The second worse movie ever was the 1982 sex comedy Porky’s. Again not a great film but you have to take it for what it is, light hearted fun and made with just a small budget.
