Market outlook-Global markets, FII inflow and quarterley numbers will dictate trend on the domestic bourses in the coming days. Results will continue to pour heavily next week as well and barring afew surprises,I don't really expect the companies to post disappointing set of numbers. While am not an expert at gauging how the markets would react to this phenomenon,as this is too short term for me,I would like to reiterate that all the long-term fundamentals seem to be in place for an investor to achieve sizeable returns from equities from a long-term perspective without taking undue risks.I believe that there is a clear opportunity to get into strong, quality mid-cap stocks with sound business models and fundamentals for the long-term.Overall,as has been the case over the past f

Former Fox TV exec Sandy Grushow has joined with “Bend It Like Beckham” producer Deepak Nayar to create Filmaka.com, a web-based movie studio that is attracting aspiring filmmakers with promises of big coin for their feature films or series pilots. Filmaka.com hosts a series of contests judged by a jury that includes Wim Wenders, Paul Schrader and Werner Herzog. The entrants submit a fee and a three-minute short, of which Grushow said the site has received 3,600 from 95 countries. Filmaka.com hosts the shorts for the curious, but when the contest is over, Grushow and Nayar will produce the winner’s feature film with coin “in the range of $2 million to $3 million.” Though the studio hasn’t advertised its services, the volume of submissions has already been large enough for Filma
I think that UMPC is going to be the next big thing. The size and price of the machine is just right for on the road warriors who hate the small screen of the handphone and hate the bulkiness of a laptop. The UMPC is the best for this group of people. Personally although i do not have a UMPC, i would definitely like to have one. The specs are going up and the price is going down. The cheapest is ASUS eePC who is going for less than $300. It runs on the linux operating system and is able to go online wirelessly and it comes with quite a suite of built-in software that is good enough for your everyday needs.Maybe i will get one of these eePC soon.

Personally I think this would be the next best thing after ad sense. Pay Per Play is a non-intrusive marketing method since there are no banner ads cluttering your web space. What it does is it plays a 5 second advertisement every time your web page loads. Your reader does not see anything (i.e., banners, buttons, text-links, etc.). And the good thing is—you get paid every playing of the audio ad, no click through are necessary. This is a nice addition to your blog’s revenue stream. But you need to hurry Pay Per Play runs live February 2008. So if I were you I will waste no time and sign up as an affiliate right now!
Hair shampoo is one ordinary product so it seems but do you know lots and lots of people are demanding quality ones in the market today?Hey, this is actually a very good idea to make money offline. Why? Think about this scenario, with the way people live today and how they purposely live a lifestyle full of self destructive measures, one effect of this is thinning and loosening of hair. It has been proven by numerous scientific studies that sedentary lifestyle is a big factor of loosing ones hair and a genetic predisposition is never absent when it comes to this discussion. So ive been thinking, why not look for ways to market great hair shampoos and make people realize its importance in today's generation. I'll look more into this and if I find something, ill be sure to let you guys know a

If he did, you wouldn't know it, because this guy is simply a class act. Peterson is modest and soft-spoken, but it's his confidence that sets him apart from most running backs in the NFL. We had been struggling to increase our Internet base and PC penetration but slowly a new realization has happened to all the companies that instead growth lies in a format which has a much wider reach than any other medium in India and this medium is Mobile the fourth screen as this week's business world calls it. It has emerged as the alternative to cinema, TV and the computer screens — all put together. Now, it promises to change the way an average Indian entertains himself and conducts business. Some of the reasons for the hype over mobile internet areTotal number of Mobile users in India are more than number of TV households in India .India's internet based mobile revenues have jumped from anemic $150 millionto $700 million within 2 years.Nokia's service Mosh's most users are from India and it is in talks with indian providers to offer its service Ovi in india.Companies like Bharti are trying for licence from SBI that will allow people to remit money over mobile. I am always interested in new technologies or ideas that pop up on the web and have tried a few out on the web site here. The uncertainty in the prices of property has made real estate
companies to integrate into telecom. Developers want to tap the
opportunities as telecom offers more revenue stability. Developers are
lining up in droves to offer telecom services-or, more specifically,
they are lining up to pick up licenses to do so. All the real estate
biggies have put in approximately 500 applications for licenses to
offer telecom services with the Department of Telecommunications (DoT).
Companies that have applied for the license include DLF Ltd, unitech
Ltd, Parsvnath Developers Ltd, Omaxe Ltd and Indiabulls Real estate

estate business has seen a slowdown in the past few months and telecom
presents a lucrative business opportunity. According to Nitin A.

estate companies are looking at the telecom business to de-risk their

Blogging is a concept that started in late 90s. It used to be a way to comment an existing webpage, an opportunity for visitors and readers to react or voice out one’s opinion on the said page. What started as a single-sentence commentary has evolved into pages of personal take on just about anything and everything under the sun. As it continues to move forward, online advertising has tapped into the blog’s potential. Here are 5 reasons why you should use blogging as an Internet marketing tool.
1.Blogging is simple.
The simplest way to get your piece on the net is through blogging. No skills are necessary… an average adult can read and type, or at least click a mouse. It’s like having a virtual piece of paper and you just write your ideas, experiences, new products, and hope that the truth behind your articles comes out and entice your reader to also try your product. If you have a PC and an Internet connection, then you can blog and advertise.
2. Blogging is

The next Big thing in Wearable Electronic will be light emitting textiles. While the controls (Eleksen) and sound elements (NXT) reached a certain maturity in the integration into clothing and other soft goods, light emitting textiles still have a long way to go.
Display like concepts are available from NYX and Lumalive, the former in mono color the later in full color, both work in principle as dot-matrix displays that allow dynamic content.
Other technologies such as EL-foils and glass fiber yarn illuminate textiles are on the market but they offer only static light pattern.
Getting display like functionality into clothing or soft goods like bags for the consumer market still remains a field to be explored.
One of such exploration to bring display functionality into clothing is the European Union Framework 6 project Modecom.
Modecom is a €1.3M (around 1.8M US$) three-year project by an international consortium of researchers could help bring to mass market organic light emitting d

Free Calls & SMS, Free Nokia: Motion Detector-Equipped Cell Phones Could Be The Next Big ThingThe cell phone has taken another step forward. Or backward, if you happen to be in the way. The latest change to the always adapting technology comes in Japan, where that country's top mobile phone carrier, NTT DoCoMo, has added a new wrinkle to what's quickly becoming one of the hottest uses for the devices - video games. It's launched several new models with motion sensors that allow users to literally wave their phones around and make them act like the Nintendo Wii. That video game console became famous when it replaced the traditional joystick with a remote that lets players bowl, serve up a game of tennis or control the action on screen simply by moving its controller. Now that same technology has been packaged into a cell phone. What does that mean? People who want to play games on their handset are now being offered a range of activities never before possible. There's a tennis game
This weekend I purchased a duck. Actually, I bought a dcuk.
Playing off French Connection’s successful FCUK marketing campaign a new environmentally conscious company out of the UK is creating bamboo/wood carved ducks, which they calls DCUKs. You can purchase an entire family, ranging from dcuklettes to teenage dcuks to adults. Each one comes with an engraved name tag (mine was named Beatrix), but if you place an order online you can choose your own name.
The reason I purchased one is that I was feeling sentimental about Maine after having seen the children’s book Make Way for Ducklings as a featured book in Borders.
Are these dcuks likely to generate significant revenues? Not anytime soon, but I like the concept and if they were combined with any of the preppy pastel ridden fabrics from my last post, these dcuks could become popular features in stores like Burberry, or restaurants.
I tried to research any symbolism surrounding ducks, but all I could find via Wikipedia is that duc
So it’s been a minute but I’m back with another smashing interview from another hot artist. Better yet the next big thing…..Bazialini. Ok say it with me ba-zil-ini…got it? Cool because you may find yourself in a crowd screaming his name. Let me give you a few stats on this Cali native. Hailing from Oakland/Bay Area the stomping grounds of E-40, MC Hammer ( give that man his props), Luniz, and Too Short, comes forth another rap phenomenon. You’ll be very surprised to hear he sounds nothing like his California brethren. Bazialini has straddled the rap game like a giant that has one foot in the heart of the wood grain gripping streets of Houston and the other in the playerlistic styles of the South. The man oozes talent from his rap game, a veteran to the club scene, and a pro on his collaborations this cats presence is so profound even I had to step my game up just to write this article. His debut album “Ballin Off The Wall” dropped in January of '07 and has been creating q

More online communities are offering revenue returns for their members as competing sites start offering rewards for their active participation.
Chad Hurley founder of Youtube recently announced his plans to share revenue with users who uploaded original videos (view full report here). There are now more community sites offering rewards where traditionally only the owners of such sites profit from the advertising revenue due to the massive online traffic and large membership base. Other communities that rewards their members include Revver and Metacafe.
However, unlike Agloco, such sites does not allow ownership share in these companies.
One company that stands out in offering company ownership is TakeTheInternetBack. TakeTheInternetBack allows its member to get a share of the company by reading emails from advertisers. Larger shares (in point system) are rewarded to members who take the initiative to refer others to join for free to this email advertising company.
