There was only two Big Mouth Stocks for this morning (VIA.B PWRD) and I really thought PWRD was going to be a good opportunity for making money. As you can see on the chart, PWRD had no pop when I expected it to. Chasing it would have not shown much profit - maybe a quarter point.

I believe you could have been profitable 4 out of 5 trades this week with HAL being a break even. There was no Big Mouth Stocks on Monday or Friday. The Big Mouth took Thanksgiving week off and he was talking to Rudy on Friday.
The NME are up to their old tricks again. The once respected music tabloid continues it's nauseous descent into the gutter by using some, admittedly ill advised , comments by Morrissey in a way that would make the S** blush.Under the headline "Big Mouth Strikes Again.... Oh dear, not again" the NME gives the impression that Morrissey is a rabid right wing racist somewhere to the right of Enoch Powell. This, don't forget, is from a 'paper' from the same stable as the execrable Nuts which is such a fan of multi-culturalism that it featured Emily Parr, who was reported as suggesting that a group of African- American diners “go back to the colonies”, on their front cover. She was in a state of undress so I guess that makes it all right then. I'd check anyone going into the NME offices to make sure that they aren't carrying any stones! The Big Mouth recommended 5 stocks Thursday night. Base on how the futures were trading, I think I need to rethink how I try to play them. Once we got into October, shorting these stocks, done correctly, could make a good deal of money. -I have been burned once in a while on doing this so I have become overly cautious selling. As a result, I make no money from them. With all of them on Friday morning being big cap stocks and the futures being down so badly, I should have just hit them with market orders on the open to go short. Even if I put on short positions, like 200 shares, a decent amount could have been made.-I have been questioned by other bloggers that I seem to try to do too many things and I am not being successful at any of them. I am thinking to stick with only shorting Big Mouth stocks and day trading the YM futures until I start making money. The idea of shorting Big Mouth stocks was what brought me to day trading in the first place.
The 3 charts above are all Big Mouth stocks. They finally looked like they were going to wake up after he stated the bull is back. Very few of his buys have worked as shorts this summer. It happened the same way last year.-I had orders in for all 3 but only got filled on one. I need to dust my brain off on how to game these again. There was no pop in 2 of them that caused me to missed them. I think I need to be more aggressive again and place maybe at 1/4 position on an open trade and fill it the position out if there is a pop.-I did caught a part of GLS but it was not the true open. I noticed after getting filled, the spreads were crazy so a little voice in my head told me to take a small profit and get out. After the real open pop, I chased the stock down but did not get filled. I totally forgot there is no uptick rule anymore.
