Guest Post: Front Entry Appeal by Jane Berger
The following post was written by Jane Berger of Garden Design Online. First impressions are lasting ones, and they’re just as important for your property as they are in people-to-people relations, An unkempt lawn, ratty shrubs, and broken paving says as much about you as a tailored suit with polished shoes or a faded dress with a dragging hem. You can’t blame home buyers who drive right by the place with the typical evergreen foundation shrubs and the tiresome, ubiquitous stretch of lawn. Whether you live in a small urban townhouse, a country estate, or the all-American suburb, your front garden should welcome visitors into your home. It can show people the way to the front door, give them a sense of who you are, and provide a successful transition between the public space (the street) and the private space (your home). There are no hard and fast rules about front yard gardens because they vary so much in size and often include what could be the ugliest component in any yard:

Candy Review: New chocolate bars from Scharffen Berger - Antilles Bar and Milk Almond Bar
Sometimes I just have to say “blah.” Unfortunately, in the case of the Limited Series Antilles bar, “blah” is the predominate word that came to mind when I tasted the chocolate. Scharffen Berger, the maker of the Antilles bar, says it features 75% cacao with notes of plum and citrus zest. I actually got bored while eating it, and am astonished at its suggested $6.50 retail price for 3 oz. Since the upsurge in touting the health benefits of dark chocolate over the last couple of years has caused mass production of dark chocolate products from countless manufacturers, a dark chocolate bar has to really stand out for me to call it special. The only thing that truly stood out as different about the Antilles bar was the cool Scharffen Berger logo imprinted in the center of the bar. A friend who considers dark chocolate an essential part of her daily meals agreed with me, and was quite disappointed that I’d shared such a boring bar with her. I’m not saying that the chocolat

Berger Raw and the Quest for Power: Crime Pays
Very recently it was reported that Sandy Berger is on board the Clinton presidential campaign as an adviser; it cannot be for legal advice as he has lost his license to practice law, much like his previous boss though not for the same reason.DeMediacratic Nation has not bothered to post on this turn of events due to it's ridiculousness and that, well to be honest it would be stated more properly elsewhere and this morning that belief has borne the expected fruit. The editors at NRO have a few words regarding the Berger:"Berger used his privileged access to steal top-secret national-defense documents. On at least two occasions he stuffed them into his clothing and briefcase, smuggling them out of the archives. He secreted some of these stolen papers under the wheel of a truck at a nearby construction site so that he could return for them later. Other documents he intentionally destroyed. These actions were serious felonies."Hsu, Berger, the Clinton Presidency itself and others tarnish t

Hillary Clinton Hires Sandy Berger The Burglar
The arrogance of the Clintons has gone out of control. Anyone who votes for Hillary Clinton after hearing this breaking story has lost their mind. I am sorry, but she has no business being in the White House. To provide you with some background, Sandy Berger confessed to stealing documents from Bill Clinton’s National Archives before the 9/11 Commission hearings in 2003. The White House counterterrorism czar, Richard Clarke, trashed the Clinton administration with its handling of terrorism within those documents. But, Sandy Berger made sure nobody would ever see those documents. To ensure that nobody would see the documents, Berger stuffed his pants and socks with the documents and then destroyed them with scissors. When it was discovered that Berger was a burglar, he lied by saying it was an “honest mistake.” Bill Clinton even vouched for Berger’s actions; I am glad to see he had a trustworthy witness. Berger later confessed. The House Government Reform Committee revealed

Sandy Berger Joins Hillary Clinton’s Campaign Staff
Cross-posted at Grizzly Groundswell   Fox News is reporting that Sandy Berger has joined Hillary Clinton’s campaign as an adviser of foreign affairs. Why would she do this, I can only think of one reason. She, or Bill actually, owes him BIGTIME. Berger, as we all know, stole documents that possibly could have shown Bill Clinton’s ineptitude leading up to September 11th, hid them under a trailer, and then lied about it. Berger did all this while he was supposedly brushing up on Clinton’s role in dealing with terror before the attacks, for his testimony before the 9/11 commission. Nothing like rewarding bad behavior, huh? From the Washington Post: Berger has admitted stealing documents from the National Archives in advance of the 9/11 Commission hearings in 2003. The documents, written by White House counterterrorism czar Richard Clarke, were a “tough review” of the Clinton administration’s shortcomings in dealing with terrorism, Clarke’s lawyer told the W

      Dr Berger's experience does count
When I went to the Wikepedia page about Tubal Reversal, I came upon this sentence. This delicate surgery is best performed by a reproductive surgeon with specialized training and experience in the techniques of tubal ligation reversal. This describes perfectly what I observed in our operating room today. During a tubal reversal procedure, Dr. Berger was faced with unexpected results from our patient's prior surgery. The outcome looked bleak, but Dr Berger's training and years of experience gave him the edge. I was amazed as I watched him create a beautiful, functional tube and fimbria out of what appeared to be a hopeless situation. Instead of two tubal segments, this patient had three. The third segment consisted of only fragments of the fimbria that could not be attached. The remaining length was good. On the other side was a short and very fibrotic tube with no opening at all into the uterus, but a healthy fimbrial segment. Any normal surgeon would have quit, but Dr. B

Sandy Berger Disbarred Over Documents Theft
How much do you supposed that Hillary and Bill Clinton paid Sandy Berger to carry out this theft and destruction of historical national security documents? I don’t know which shocks me more that he did in fact do this or that a bigger deal isn’t be made of it. It would be like the Sheriff of a town caught shoplifting. And of course I have to ask the litmus test question for such incidents: Would the media and Democrat reaction have been any different if it had been a conservative doing the same thing? We all know the answer and yes, it would have been like sharks in a feeding frenzy. But getting back to the original issue what do you suppose was in the documents that worried the Clintons so much and why isn’t the media asking that question? ~RJH Fox News article link Report: Clinton National Security Adviser Berger Disbarred Over Archives TheftWASHINGTON — Sandy Berger, who served as national security adviser during the Clinton administration, has given up his license to practice

      Berger or bust?
Ive liked Patrik Berger for a long time. I believe him to be a talented football player. OK, he may be in the autumn years of his career but he still has the talent, the fitness, and the time to still do a in the premier league and for Aston Villa. If he is not offered a new contract at Aston Villa it can only be because Martin O'Neill believes that he is about to sign big names during the summer transfer window.Berger has been good for villa and not only since the bust up with O'Neill earlier this season. I admit that i am a fan of Patrik Berger and that i believe that he deserves a contact at Aston Villa for at least another season.if this does not happen, it can only be for one reason alone, and that is that Lerner and O'NEill are planning to spend really big in the summer.I'm Not so convinced. Give Berger a Contract and every time he pulls on the claret and blue shirt he will do his job, and play 100% for Villa.Aston Villa Lottery syndicate http://www.VillaLotto.com or villalot

      Patrik Berger
I've been impressed with Patrik Berger every time he has stepped onto the field in an Aston Villa Shirt. Ive seen him turn dull and boring games into something exciting to watch. Ive seen Patrik Berger come on as a sub during games where neither team has the advantage and neither seems willing to push for it, and spark a revival.I think he deserves at least another season at Villa, and I know that he wants to still show the Villa faithful what he can do. I think MArtin O'Neill will be impressed also with his attitude in recent months, and may offer him a new deal.I'd like to see BErger start the next few games, and we can tehn watch his pride and desire show on the pitch when starting for Aston Villa in the first team. I dont think Berger will last 90 minutes, but i think what ever time he is on the pitch he will contribute 100% and give Villa something special that they have needed recently.Go On O'Neill, give hime a go....Aston Villa Lottery syndicate http://www.VillaLotto.com or

It's about time Sandy Berger went for his polygraph test
Lawmakers want the Justice Dept. to seat Sandy Berger in front of a lie detector and test him to learn what documents he stole. From FOX News (via Michelle Malkin): WASHINGTON - The Justice Department should administer a polygraph test to former National Security Adviser Sandy Berger to find out what documents he took from the National Archives in 2002 and 2003, Rep. Tom Davis wrote in a letter to Attorney General Alberto Gonzales dated Monday. Davis, ranking Republican on the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, is leading a group of 18 lawmakers who say the Justice Department has been "remarkably incurious" about Berger's decision to remove documents relating to the Sept. 11 commission's inquiry into his role in helping prevent terror attacks during the Clinton administration. "It is extraordinarily important that the Justice Department avail itself of its rights under the plea agreement and administer a polygraph examination to Mr. Berger to question him about the extent

Sandy Berger hid the documents he stole under...a construction trailer?!?
Sounds bizarre, right? At least, that's where he says he hid them: WASHINGTON (AP) - Former national security adviser Sandy Berger removed classified documents from the National Archives in 2003 and hid them under a construction trailer, the Archives inspector general reported Wednesday. The report was issued more than a year after Berger pleaded guilty and received a criminal sentence for removal of the documents. Inspector General Paul Brachfeld reported that when Berger was confronted by Archives officials about the missing documents, he said it was possible he threw them in his office trash. The report said that when Archives employees first suspected that Berger - who had been President Clinton's national security adviser - was removing classified documents from the Archives in the fall of 2003, they failed to notify any law enforcement agency. Berger, who pleaded guilty to unlawfully removing and retaining classified documents, was fined $50,000, ordered to perform 100 hours o

      Angel & Berger?
In the changing world of Aston Villa, can Juan Pablo Angel and Patrik Berger still bring something to the team?I believe Angel and Berger are both extremely capable of turning back the clock and being great assetts for the next few years at Aston Villa. I think Angel has the hunger and desire to prove himself still. Juan Pablo can still provide the goals, and i think all he needs is a little confidence in front of goal. only a couple of seasons ago, Angel was firing us up the Premier league, and i think he can help the rest of our strike force do it again.I've seen Patrik Berger come off the bench and change games, games that looked lost before his influence runs out onto that pitch. He too can still do it Villa.I'd like to see both players be part of the changing times at Aston Villa, and mentors for the younger members of the team coming through the ranks.Juan Pablo Angel and Patrik Berger are both on the score sheet for the reserves tonight, as well as Luke more and Isaiah Osbourn

Angel who may have been a little nervy when John Carew and Ashley Young arrived late in January, has been told by Martin O'Neill that he is still very much in his plans.Angel scored in the reserves match against charlton 2 nights ago, and this can only aid his drive to get back into contention for a first team spot. Martin O'Neill had explained that Juan Pablo Angel has played in every Aston Villa game this season and was starting to tire a little having had no rest.
