She's a horrible character, but the clothes are brilliant. I love Amanda's outfits, even if they do make her wear old shoes. Her style is chic and smart, but neatly avoids looking Victoria Beckham-like. Lots of strong simple colours (except the plaid LAMB dress, which was horrid), crisp shirts and tailored dresses and skirts - like the Black Halo Dress (below right), although she wore it in grey, as did Teri Hatcher in Desparate Housewives. We also see her wearing cute waistcoats, smart shorts... it all sounds a bit tacky and more than a bit, well, cheap, but actually it's pulled off quite well.
