There’s no doubt that Take That was the biggest UK boy band of the 1990’s. Ten years on and they return with not only a greatest hits album, but brand spanking new material too! Does this mean they’re back for good? Sorry, I just had to!
Their album, Beautiful World was the first album which saw each member of the band take lead vocals on at least one song. The album shot straight to number one and has sold over 2 million copies so far.
Their Beautiful World tour, which is still going strong, has been so popular that the band have re-released Beautiful World as a special tour souvenir edition featuring additional tracks and repacked with new photos of the band while they rehearse for the tour.
The disc also features and interview with the band, and the music videos for Patience, Shine, I’d Wait For Life and Rule The World.

Like many other fan blogs, this post is really quite ahead of its time. Before marking 29th of August on the calender for the release of Beautiful World/Kiss&Cry “album” comprising of 3 singles, Utada fans can already enjoy listening to the beautiful Blue-like tune of Beautiful World and the fast-paced and R&B-ish Kiss&Cry.

Hate me or not, but I bought the latest Take That album. Yup. You heard right. I walked into a store and gave someone money for a CD of a boy band. The boy band even. Must be the first sign of insanity. But y'know what? I like that CD. It's good. They sound mature and not boy band-ish at all. They sound pop-ish, but that's OK I guess since they are pop musicians. But... it could have been worse. That album is good and I can really recommend it. Naturally it's not one of my favorite CDs but it's not the shabbiest one either. So yarr... Beautiful World shit and whatthefucknot.
