Do you love watching baseball game? If you ask me today, my answer would be “YES”. I really enjoy watching baseball game, whether it’s in the field or just in television. One reason why I also love watching it is because… my father also love watching baseball games. Like father, like daughter, huh? Yeah, my [...]

I just got back from a baseball game, Seattle vs. Boston and my poor Mariners lost, as usual. While I am much more upset about the fact that there were seemingly more Boston fans than Mariner fans present, this is not really the place to be venting such grievances. However, it is quite [...]
My first ever glimpse of a professional baseball match in a very huge stadium. Thanks to Mr. Harada, Ms. Kakinuma and Ernest who tagged me along in this trip. Rain has not stopped us in witnessing this match. Afterall, the field is covered. Seibu Lions, the home team of Saitama Prefecture, won the game agains the Chiba Lotte Marines. I hope I can watch more games in the future, for free. :-D
Lesbian kisses at game ignite Seattle debate: 2 lesbians were kissing during the Seattle Mariners-Boston Red Sox baseball game but an usher complained. The news broke out on TV and into blogs. But last week, a lesbian complained that an usher at Safeco Field asked her to stop kissing her date because it was making another fan uncomfortable. Justin Hayes of Cumming, GA was at the Braves and Mets game yesterday and fell off a stairwell 150 feet to his death.
There will be an autopsy to figure out the cause of death, like it isn’t obvious what it was.

Posted on May 12th, 2008 10:27 amIt was a big weekend for celebrities attending sporting events. Earlier today, we posted a picture of Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens kissing at an NBA playoff game. Now, here’s a look at Camila Alves and Matthew McConaughey at a Los Angeles Dodgers came over the weekend. We’re not sure if the home team won or not, but we are sure of this: Both sides of this
a little league baseball game is turned into a major league event. All players, coaches, and parents do not know what is happening. We worked with the league commissioner to get the kids' names and access to the field to setup our equipment the morning of the game. He was...
President Bush threw out the ceremonial first pitch tonight at the Washington Nationals season opener and the inaugural game at Washington’s National Ballpark.
OK, I know, its just a Spring Training game, and that Josh Becket (or any of the other starters for that matter) will pitch no more than an inning or 3, and most of the starters will be gone by the 5th inning, to be replaced by young ‘uns we have never heard of–but it [...]
I'm just done watching the baseball game "Seattle Mariners vs. Texas Rangers" tonight and it sucks! Natalo ang Mariners twice in a row now. Well, in the American League wild card standard, they're still in the first position followed by New York Yankees. I just hope they will win tomorrow. I'm still crossing my fingers :)
Welcome to Blog Your Blessings Sunday.IJ's baseball team lost the championship to the only team who beat them this year. Taking the title of division champs, their final record was 11-2. They had loads of fun with a great coach and terrific morale. It was great baseball season. One thing that really impressed me was in the last inning when the teams were tied. (The game required an extra inning to complete.) IJ's teammate hit the ball and the other team fumbled it so he made his way around the bases. He came to base three and the coach told him to stop. The ball was still in the outfield, and he could have run home and won the game. Jim thought he should have blown by his coach to win the game anyway--that's what he would have done, he said--but the kid didn't. He saw he could have won the game. Instead he stopped to submit to his coach's authority.Jim said he was stupid. I said he was wise. Our team may have lost the championship yesterday, but something greater was won. Respect fo

The published histories of the Negro Baseball Leagues generally end with 1955 or even earlier. The Negro American League (NAL) actually continued through 1961, with league and all-star games, but little has been written about this era. While the major and minor leagues had opened up to African-Americans beginning with ...
Well, Mike calls tonight and says, hey I'm getting a couple of baseball tickets for the Cardinals game Saturday afternoon. Uhm. Okay. How many? He tells me just two. Well, I cannot go, someone has to be here for the kids (plus not a huge sports fan...remember?)
So how do ...
{mosgoogle right}Pinup model Akina Minami tossed the ceremonial first pitch to open a Japanese interleague baseball game at Jingu Stadium in Tokyo on Sunday while dressed as "Pikachu," the main character from the popular animation series "Pokemon.""I'm not good at sports, so I practiced throwing the ball with my stylists. I'm glad the ball got to home base," said the 19-year-old Minami with a smil
