While the Barracuda 7200.11 and ES.2 are almost identical drives, there are some important differences to highlight between them. For instance, the 7200.11 has a mean time between failure (MTBF) rating of 750,000 hours while the ES.2 boasts a superior and more server-oriented MTBF of 1.2 million hours. Essentially, this means the ES.2 should be a more reliable drive that is less likely to fail. So, Barracuda is much better than “Barracuda,” the story its a sequel to, which ran in Punisher MAX. Maybe not, actually. That story was Ennis’s first disappointing arc on Punisher MAX (after “The Slavers,” though, anything would have been a disappointment… but “Barracuda” was definitely more of one than it had to be). Here's a group of Heller's barracuda. They are a schooling fish and are basically harmless to divers. They seem to swim in nice picturesque arcs, although they are tough to really photo accurately because the silver of their bodies doens't show up well against the blue of the ocean in photos.

Seagate has announced two hard drives for consumer and enterprise markets, the Barracuda 7200.11 and Barracuda ES.2 hard drives.  The new hard drives use Perpendicular Magnetic Recording (PMR), spin at 7,200 RPM, 32 MB of cache, and Seagate’s renowned  five-year limited warranty.  The new drives are designed to lower operating temperatures as well as power consumption to increase overall drive longevity and lower decibel ratings from the drives.  Along with quite a few newer technologies, Seagate has announced the new drives to have a higher sustained transfer rate of 105MB/s, the highest to date.
