Just got a phone call from loyal reader Manny Ventoso, who says there's a major incident brewing in Kearny on the Belleville Pike across the street from Pizzaland. He says he's heard there's a major fire, and a woman has been taken out of a building with 80 percent of her body burned. He also says there had been a lockdown at Gunnel Oval, where a medical helicopter landed.Here are some photos Manny took at the Oval, where he says the victim was transported to, by ambulance, to be flown by helicopter to the Burn Unit at St. Barnabas Hospital in Livingston.We'll have more information as it becomes available, and many thanks to Manny Ventoso for his Citizen Journalist Report for The Hudson Line.
