Grammy Winner- Beck is set to release a new 10 song album produced by Danger Mouse. It is a follow up to his 2006 release The Information which sold 380,000 copies. An official release date has not yet been established but there is speculation that it will be released within 4 to 6 weeks.

There are no clowns, Superman outfits or storm trooper costumes. The music’s not bad, and the lyrics aren’t about farting or anything. I definitely have high standards when it comes to liking a band, and GB still has a ways to go before I’ve changed my mind about them, but the video makes a good argument for paying more attention

When Danger Mouse and Cee-Lo strike a pose together as Gnarls Barkley, they’ll dress up as anything from Star Wars characters to the Dude and Walter from The Big Lebowski. But their greatest costume concept has to be Hunter S. Thompson and his attorney, because that captures the fear and loathing in their music. “Crazy” seemed jovial on the surface, which is why it became the world’s favorite song in 2006. But the longer you listened, the creepier it felt — especially Cee-Lo’s cackle in the second verse.

Unfortunately, this being the technology age, as soon as the novelty wears off, every 14-year-old will just pop the track into an MP3 editor, re-reverse it and effectively wipe out conversions to album sales. Gnarls Barkley have spoken about their new album which is eagerly anticipated after the huge success of their 2006 album St Elsewhere.
Not a lot of information has been released, except the duo (Dangermouse and Cee-Lo Green began work on the new album in late 2006 and expect it to be completed in spring 2008. No release date has been confirmed and no album title has been suggested thus far.
Speaking about the album Danger Mouse told New York Times: "It sounds like we're more comfortable with each other and just as uncomfortable with everybody and everything else."

Das 1919 vom russischen Physikprofessor Leon Theremin erfundene Theremin (zu deutsch Ätherwellengeige), gehört wohl zu den beeindruckendsten Instrumenten überhaupt. Es gilt als das erste elektrische Instrument und eines der wenige, die ohne körperlichen Kontakt gespielt werden. Dabei regelt die eine Hand die Tonhöhe und die andere Hand die Lautstärke.
Die Theremin wurde für zahlreiche Filmsoundeffekte benutzt, aber ebenso von vielen Künstlern in zahlreichen Songs, wie Jean-Michel Jarre, Jimmy Page von Led Zeppelin in Whole Lotta Love und die Beach Boys das verwandte Tannerin in Good Vibrations.

Shaquille O’Neal was the guest of TNT Studio Monday night. Aside from one of most dominant player in the NBA, Shaq is just as funny as anybody. Not forgetting that he is a rapper and also a policeman in Miami.
Shaq maybe the biggest body in the basketball court but on TV it looks like Charles Barkley is bigger. Shaq has a gentle voice, he didn’t speak that much.
