Unlike the very terrible terrible (terrible) demo of Crash Bandicoot’s “Crash of the Titans” (that was released on the holy Halo 3’s day of birth), two very good demo’s have hit the marketplace today, both hitting opposite sides of the gaming spectrum so you will probably be at least downloading one of the two. Let me once again let you know, Crash of the Titans is horrible, the graphics, the game play (still staying away from true 3D gaming, fools!), just don’t waste your time at all unless you have a child under the age of 10 or so (seriously). A game I have been waiting for, Jericho however, is going to be making me turn on my 360 in literally a few minutes so I can try any part of this (click for some video goodness). Codemasters está desarrollando un juego llamado Clive Barker’s Jericho, pero ¿sabéis quien es Clive Barker o pensabais que formaba parte del título del juego? Clive Barker’s Jericho, una de las apuestas más fuertes de Codemasters de este año, y considerado por GameSpy como uno de los 10 mejores juegos del pasado E3, será jugable en el próximo Games Convention de Leipzig. El juego, desarrollado por el estudio español Mercury Steam, saldrá a la venta el próximo Otoño para PC, 360 y PS3. It’s true, sadly Shanna Moakler and Travis Barker have split yet again. These crazy kids just can’t seem to get it together. Shanna recently attended the HER Energy Drink Luau, a benefit for the Nicole Brown Foundation at L.A.’s Playboy Mansion, and told People magazine that she was devastated that her relationship with Barker is over (again). “We separated, and for me it’s very disappointing, I consider him the love of my life. I think the demise of a marriage is like a death, and there is a mourning that goes with it. It’s devastating.” This doesn’t bode well for the rest of us. If these two can’t make it, is there hope for any of us?

Codemasters is becoming quite one of my favorite developers. With Overlord doing quite well with those who game (link) as well as the very kick ass looking Rise of Argonauts (link), along comes another title, which I already knew about before, but really hadn’t taken a good glance at as of yet. The six new screens show how well the concept art is turning into in game screens (which I am still at disbelief at some of them being in game.. in fact, throwing this in the “Concept Art” section of the site as well just in case). Es la conclusión a la que llega el afamado escritor de terror y cineasta, en una conferencia realizada en el marco del Hollywood & Games Summit que se celebra en Los Angeles. Barker contestó de esta forma a otro director, Roger Ebert, que afirmaba que los videojuegos eran “inferiores” a medios como el cine o la literatura. Barker no dudó en acusar a Ebert de tener prejuicios hacia los videojuegos y defendió los videojuegos como un tipo de arte. Bob Barker retired recently at 82, (see article here). At least he finally RETIRED...sigh. There are a ton of new communications graduates out there who would love to have a chance to have a job. Sometimes it irks me a bit when someone just does not know when it is time to give someone else a shot.So who does he suggest to replace him after his LONG, LONG stint? Rosie O'Donnell. Oh this is classic. He wants to clog up the job for another eternity now that he doesn't need it anymore...very thoughtful. Whatever happened to the "free market?" I couldn't believe it either.
