Take me out to the ballgame....
Mara and Emily started baseball last Saturday. Mara loved it, and Emily...well, not so much. Here's Mara with her 'boyfriend' (she really calls him that) Caiden. And I love this look on her face.Oh yes, and this look on Em's face too. They just look like they're contemplating life. Here's the only action shot you'll see of Emily cause she threw her hat and glove down and quit just a few minutes a

Take me out to the ballgame but only if I can play
This weekend we found ourselves in possession of tickets to a minor league baseball game. I held off on telling Princess about our potential fun event until I knew if we were really going or not because of the weather forecast. A chance of afternoon thunderstorms could keep us away from the game. [...]

Take me out to the solar heated ballgame
Since I’ve moved to Baltimore, there are a few things that I’ve learned to love: Old Bay seasoning Hearing people say “warshing” machine Seeing Mexi-mullets in Fells Point The Resurrection beer at Brewer’s Art Chicken cheesesteak subs from Never on Sunday The Baltimore Orioles! Of all of these things, I am most obsessed with the Baltimore Orioles. I think I’v

Ballgame over! Loogies Lose! Theeee-eeee-eeeeeee! Loogies! Lose!
Okay, I’m going to get back to this blogging thing again: Two nights ago, I had a relatively amusing dream which involves our beloved, lethargic, uninspired Yankee team. I was listening to the ever-theatrical John Sterling’s radio broadcast of a Yankee game, when, as usual, they looked like a bunch of slumbering brats. As the game [...]

      Drunk baby at the ballgame
Ok so don’t try this one at home people.  Thanks to the good folks at Bugs and Cranks, we have this video of a baby getting wasted at the game.  The description of this video states that the bottle is empty but I highly doubt that.  This baby looks really tipsy to me.  What do [...]

The Jaunt Fantasy Camp: Fantasy Friday "Take Me Out To The Ballgame"
Road trip! Saturday I will in Pittsburgh for the Pirates vs Astros and on Wednesday in Cleveland for the Red Sox vs Indians. While packing my socks and underwear I came up with some names of players who surprised me in the first half of the season. I will be back on Thursday the 26th to report on my trip and getting back to my blogging duties. Until then I'll keep my fingers crossed that Mark doesn't burn the place down.Eric Byrnes OF ARI... Is his status as a streaky speedster about be shaken off? Byrnes has shown the ability to hit well and hit for power, just not all season. Historically his numbers, batting average in particular, take a dip in the second half. Despite what history tells us Byrnes is on pace to set career highs in every major categoryblond. He's been a top 20 fantasy player any scoring system. Cheers to owners who spent one of their later round picks on the scrappy blonde haired D-Back.Brandon Phillips 2B CIN... Second base for the past few seasons has been Chase

Take Me Out to the Ballgame
Tina and Lee took me up on my recent offer for free A’s tickets and were kind enough to send back a pic of them enjoying the game this past Father’s Day. Unfortunately the A’s lost, giving up buckets of runs for only the second time all season, after taking a 4 run lead in the first. I recall being pretty depressed listening to it all unfold driving down I-5 on the drive back from Hat Creek. Tina reports that they had a good time despite the loss. And really, how could you not when you’re sporting The Shirt? Thanks for the pic guys and glad you enjoyed the game! And be sure to check out Tina’s new blog The Wine Broad and contribute a Rowdy Topless Taster story.
